Discover Darwins College

Darwins College is one of the newest in Manchester and was founded in June 2010 at Odd Fellow campus. One of the great things about coming to a college like ours is that it means a new start, new people to meet and exciting new opportunities. As we are based on one compact site, near the centre of Manchester, were a real community with a very supportive atmosphere. In this aspect, we like to think of Darwins College as a family. By joining the College students become members of a large family and our students are the focus of our family. By providing a quality education, support and help the College enables its members to fulfil their personal and academic potential. College staff complement the academic work of our tutors. If in need of help, for whatever reason, students can speak with staff (College mentors, the College Secretary, the Student Support and Admissions Officer, the Director of Operation, the Director of Academics or Principal) who will listen and, as appropriate, offer help and advice. Our open door policy allows students to informally approach staff with any concern or query at their own convenience. We encourage our students to take advantage of all that the College has to offer, to join in further College courses or activities and to use the College to get the most out of student life. We support students to participate in social, sporting, charity and creative activities to augment their studies at Darwins College. Through participation we hope you will gain more from your time here and help shape Darwins College. This strong academic and caring ethos will inspire you as you aim for your own bright future. If you need any help or further information, do not hesitate to get in touch, or visit our website. We look forward very much to welcoming you, as you begin this new stage of your life. Our goal is to provide high quality educational experiences to the global community. In pursuit of these goals, Darwins College is committed to the development of creative learning environments wherein an understanding of, and appreciation for, the privileges and responsibilities of international citizenship is fostered. This commitment is driven by the belief that interaction between people of diverse cultures is the base upon which empathy among nations is built.
