Project

WorkSite Server

Role: Testing and reporting to Lead/Manager

The Worksite Server is optimized for Microsoft Windows server environments and
leverages features such as the NT service manager, event viewer and performance
monitors, making it easy to administer and maintain. The development toolkit is
COM based, while the Worksite client applications integrate with desktop applications
like MS Office and Outlook.

Each feature has different functionality.

DB Admin: In DB Admin one can create users, groups and roles. The different types
of users that can be created are Admin users, Windows NT users, External Users. In
the same way one can create groups and Roles.

Document Import: Using document import one can import 1000s of documents to
the database at one go. This tool is helpful at the time of migration.
Dialog Editor: This tool helps in customizing the fields. This is mostly used to
customize not only the fields but also most of the dialogs displayed in the
application.

Monitor: This tool helps in archive documents. One can delete the history of a
document-using Monitor and no other tool will provide this functionality.

Service Manager: Using Service manager one can configure database and File
Servers. Service Manager comes with Log file, which helps in tracking whenever the
functionality is not working as intended.

DeskSite

Role: Testing and reporting to Lead/Manager

DeskSite is an enterprise-wide, mission-critical DMS. With DeskSite, you can

greatly simplify the task of managing repositories of millions of documents and
making them available to thousands of users. With DeskSite the user organize their

Win Runner: Data Driven testing is used for checking with multiple data and written

workspaces.

Offsite

Role: Testing and reporting to Lead/Manager

The idea behind of doing the implicit synch is to provide user with a better
working experience. Users don’t need to feel frustrated if the document they have
been working on when connecting to online server, somehow they could no longer
access it when they lost network connection, just because they did not do a manual
synch. Offsite allows users to work with documents in offline so that he can
synchronize his work with the Network whenever it is up.
