CHAPTER II COMPANY PROFILE

2.1 Profile of JAMSOSTEK Implementation of the social security program is one of the responsibilities and obligations of the State to provide social protection to the public economy. In accordance with the conditions of the financial capabilities of State, Indonesia as well as many other developing countries, develop a social insurance program funded by social security, social security is funded by the participants and the community is still limited to workers in the formal sector. JAMSOSTEK provide some services such as Old Age Security (JHT), Health Insurance (JPK), Work Accident Insurance (JKK), and Security Death (JK). Services are intended as one of the responsibilities of the State in providing social protection to the public lekonomi.

The next important milestone is the birth of Act No.3 of 1992 on Social Security Workers (JAMSOSTEK). And through the PP No.36/1995 establishment of PT. JAMSOSTEK program provides basic protection to meet the minimum requirements for workers and their families, by providing certainty of ongoing revenue stream of family income as a replacement part or entirely lost income due to social risk. Subsequently in late 2004, the Government also issued Law No. 40 Year 2004 on National Social Security System, which is associated with the 1945 Amendment to the changes in article 34 paragraph 2, where the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) has adopted amendments, which now reads: "The state developed social security system for all citizens and to empower the weak and incapable in accordance with human dignity". The benefits of such protection can provide a sense of security to the workers so that they can better concentrate on increasing motivation and productivity.

2.3 Vision and Mission of JAMSOSTEK 2.3.1 Vision Vision: Being a social security institutions trusted workforce that excels in service and provide optimal benefits for all participants and their families.

2.3.2 Mission Mission: As an organizer of social security agency workforce that meets the basic protections for workers as well as a trusted partner for: Labor: Provide adequate protection for workers and families Entrepreneur: Being a reliable partner for mem2berikan protection to labor and increase productivity Country: Participate in the development PHILOSOPHY of JAMSOSTEK JAMSOSTEK have strong philosophies as the basis of the Vision and Mission JAMSOSTEK, namely: a. JAMSOSTEK based on the philosophy of independence and self-esteem to overcome the socio-economic risk. Independence means not dependent on others to finance the treatment of sick time, life or his family if diharitua died. Self-esteem means that collateral is obtained as a right and not of the mercy of others. b.
