Distribution of points: Exams 70% Homework 30% Blackboard: Blackboard will occasionally be used for supplemental materials, announcements, etc. Please make sure you can log into the course through your student portal, and you check the email associated with Blackboard often. I will typically send out an email alert whenever I post something on Blackboard. Academic Dishonesty: University policy can be found at http://www.fullerton.edu/senate/PDF/300/UPS300021.pdf. First offence will receive an F on the exam/assignment. A second offence will be reported to the university, and result in an F in the course. Study Tips: Do a couple of homework problems each day; do not wait until the night before to do all of them. Reread the book at home. If a section or concept does not make sense, do not move on! Keep reading it, or come in for help. Your book should be your main source of reference, but sites like http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/hframe.html and http://www.physicsforums.com/ may come in handy for conceptual reviews. Be careful when using sites like Wikipedia or Yahoo Answers as they are not always correct. Dont be afraid to ask questions!
