20 year old man Westbank, BC Charges of participating in a riot, assaulting a police officer and disarming a police officer, are being recommended against a 20 year old man from Westbank, BC. After watching the hockey game with friends at the Hamilton Street Live Site, the intoxicated man walked up to a crowd control police officer and allegedly kicked his shield and attempted to grab his baton. 21 year old man Delta, BC Charges are being recommended for a 21 year old man from Delta. The man watched the game from the Live Site on West Georgia Street. In his intoxicated state, he became separated from his friends. Its alleged that minutes after the end of Game 7, he witnessed numerous assaults, portable toilets being overturned, and fires being set. Instead of walking away, he chose to join in. The man grabbed a pole from the back of a parked truck and smashed out the rear tail lights and back window of that same vehicle. He is then alleged to have helped set the truck on fire and fuel the fire by throwing garbage onto the flames. He has no criminal record. LOCATION 300 block W. Georgia

CHARGES participating in a riot mischief over $5000 arson

SYNOPSIS #3
23 year old woman Surrey, BC Just before 8:30 p.m. on June 15th, an intoxicated 23 year old woman from Surrey was amongst a large crowd of people in the 100 block of West Georgia. Allegedly, she was seen entering a police car and tried to set the rear seat on fire with a cigarette lighter. She then moved to the front of the car and was able to set the front headrest on fire. As the police car burned, the woman reportedly walked away shouting obscenities. Moments later, the same woman is seen on video allegedly grabbing a piece of wood and smashing the police car several times. For her role on June 15th, charges of participating in a riot, mischief and arson are being recommended to Crown. The woman has no criminal record. SYNOPSIS #4
52 year old man Port Coquitlam, BC DNA collected at the scene, places a 52 year old man from Port Coquitlam inside a department store in the 700 block of Granville Street. Investigators were able to view video footage showing the man allegedly looting the store shortly after 10:00 p.m.

The man is known to police and has a lengthy criminal record for theft, break and enter and sex offences. LOCATION 710 Granville Street

SYNOPSIS #5
20 year old man Vancouver, BC A 20 year old man from Vancouver was at home watching the riot unfold on television, when he made the decision to head downtown into the crowds. His alleged crime spree started shortly before 11:00 p.m. in the 600 block of Granville Street. He is seen on surveillance video throwing a mannequin through the window of a department store. He continued on down the street, where he threw a broken chair through a window of a second location. The same man is then seen on video breaking into a third business, through a previously shattered window. While inside, he grabs a metal clothes rack and is alleged to have smashed out the remaining store windows. He has no criminal record.
