Report to accompany the estimate for Supplying and fixing of guide

stone, guard stone, Kilometer and Hectometer stones along with Road Signs. From
km. 0/0 To 3.500 of Approach road to T.G.P camp colony K.R.Dam

The formation of Kandaleru Reservoir was completed in the year 1997 and water
was let out to Chenni City an approach road from Podalakur – Rapur Road @ km 15/0 to
T.G.P Camp colony K,R.Dam was formed in the year 1984 and maintenance works are
done. The Kandaleru Reservoirs is developing as a Tourist spot and visitors are increasing
year by year. The Tourism department is going to develop the vacant lands in near by
Kandaleru Reservoir as Tourist spot. During the year 2007 the approach road from km 0/0 to
3.50 was renevewled and widens a length of first 200 mts. During the this year an Entrance
Gate is constructing and proposed to be opened by the honorable Chief Minister of A P in
the Month of April / May 2008.

In this connection the Road side sign boards, guide stone guard stones Kilometer
and Hectometer stone are required for this Roads from km 0/0 to 3.50 of T.G.P Camp colony
K.R.Dam There are no sign boards guide stones, guard stone along the approach Road.
The Honorable Chief Minister will pass through this road during his inaugural function.
Hence providing of Guide stone, guard stone kilometer and hectometer stone and road sign
board are required for this road. Hence this estimate was prepared with the following
provisions.

1. Supplying and fixing of RCC Guide stones of size 800mm X150mmX 150mm in
8mm Dia steel for verticals 4 nos and 6mm Dia steel for stirups @ 15 cem,C/C
with 60% of 20mm and 40% of 12mm HBGMC metel in C.C 1:2:4 concrect
including excavation of pit, conveyance of stone to pit area, fixing the stone and
refeling the trench with excavated soil etc. complete.

2. Supplying and fixing of RCC Guard stones of size 1200mm X200mmX 200mm in
8mm Dia steel for verticals 4 nos and 6mm Dia steel for stirups @ 15 cem,C/C
with 60% of 20mm and 40% of 12mm HBGMC metel in C.C 1:2:4 concrect
including excavation of pit, conveyance of stone to pit area, fixing the stone and
refeling the trench with excavated soil etc. complete.
3. Supplying and fixing of RCC Kilometer stones of size 1100mm X370mmX 150mm
in 10mm Dia steel for verticals 6 nos and 6mm Dia steel for stirups @ 10
cem,C/C with 60% of 20mm and 40% of 12mm HBGMC metel in C.C 1:2:4
concrect including excavation of pit, conveyance of stone to pit area, fixing the
stone and refeling the trench with excavated soil etc. complete.
4. Supplying and fixing of RCC Hectometer stones of size 900mm X200mmX
200mm in 8mm Dia steel for verticals 4 nos and 6mm Dia steel for stirups @ 15
cem,C/C with 60% of 20mm and 40% of 12mm HBGMC metel in C.C 1:2:4
concrect including excavation of pit, conveyance of stone to pit area, fixing the
stone and refeling the trench with excavated soil etc. complete.
 5. Painting to Guide stone, guard stone, kilometer stone, Hectameter stone with
best enamil paint in 2 cots over the initial coat of wall primary coat including cost
and conveyance of all meterials and labour charges etc. complete.

6. Supplying and fixing of Hot pressed compression moulded smc sing plates of size
600mm Dia circular plate for making road sing boards as per the approved
diemensions of national High way authority of India complete for finished item of
work inculuding cost of 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" ieron angle of 2.4 meters hight post, earth
work excavation, fixing in CC 1:2:4 concrect and paintaing the vertical post with
best enamil paint in 2 costs over the intial coat of primary etc. compte
7. Provision towards 4% VAT on ECV

8. Provision towards 1% Labour cess on ECV

9. Provision towards Technical Agent

10. Provision towards Insurence coverage @ 0.68% on ECV

Rates :- The above Estimate was prepared with current SSR for the year
07-08 and Local market Rate.

Programme of work: the above is programmed to be taken up 10.4.08 and

completed by 30.4.08

Funds:

The Expenditure is charge bul to 4701 C.O.L on Magor and Medium Irrigation,
