Manuscript specifications Use a version of WORD compatible with 1997-2003 software. Abstract (max 150 words) must precede the main text of the paper. The main text and abstract should be prefaced by the title only, with no indication of the author or authors departmental affiliation. A cover page must contain the title, author, academic affiliation, authors full contact details: postal and email addresses, phone numbers, and a biographical note not exceeding 100 words. Maximum length: 10,000 words (including footnotes and reference lists). Main body of the paper should be double spaced on A4 (8.5x11) in Times New Roman, font size 10 (footnotes should be font size 10 also in Times New Roman). Margins should be one inch or 2.5 cm all around. Text setting should not be justified. Paragraphs indented five spaces. Extra spacing between paragraphs should be avoided. Spelling overall will be British English. Quotations filling more than three lines of text should be indented without quotation marks and single spaced. Section sub-headings should be flush with the left margin and underlined. Use brief subheadings for your sections, or alternatively number them. Charts, graphs, diagrams, should be in font size 10, introduced in a separate file. Their location in the text should be indicated throughout the manuscript by number and correspondingly labeled in the separate file. Footnotes should be single spaced and limited to content, commenting or explaining points in the text (i.e. all sources of quoted passages or paraphrasing should be written in the in-text citations format, not in footnotes). Referencing in the footnotes should be written using in-text citations just as in the main body of the paper. Use the function key for footnotes when inserting superscripts. Generally, avoid creating endnotes. In-text citations must be consistent throughout the manuscript and should take these forms: Evidence was found by Collins (2001). Dandy (1991) also holds this view as do others (Figueroa and Patrick 2001; Saloy 1999). In the same and later works, Dandy stressed the contrast again (1991: 45; 1995: 42). She recalled that we all rose and lay down in darkness (Dandy 1991: 24). Every in-text citation must correspond with one or more entries in the References section which follows the main body of the paper. All works listed under this heading should have been cited in the text or cited in the footnotes. All authors in the References at the end are listed alphabetically by family name. Do not number references (only number footnotes). Charts, graphs, diagrams, should be in font size 10, introduced in a separate file. Their location in the text should be indicated throughout the manuscript by number and correspondingly labeled in the separate file. Reference format must comply exactly with MLA 7th Edition
