In a family, you learn about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and how to live with them again someday. Valiant 8: We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel (Articles of Faith 1:3). Ashlin: Jesus Christ wanted to follow God's plan so he offered himself as our savior. He is the perfect example to me because he is nice and kind and always listens to God. I love Him because he sacrificed himself for our sins. I know He loves us very much. Ella: Jesus Christ was resurrected, and someday I will be too. SONG: He Died! That We Might Live Again CTR 6&7: We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost (Articles of Faith 1:4). Ian: Faith in Jesus Christ leads us to love Him, trust Him, and keep His commandments. I have faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us to do the right thing. He taught us to be kind to others. And when I follow Him, I am happy. Following Jesus' example means choosing the right. Faith means trusting Jesus Christ enough to follow him. And it means knowing that I will be blessed if I follow Jesus' example.

Abby: We can repent for our sins. We can repent by praying to Heavenly Father. We can also talk to the person we offended and try to never do it again. Every day we make mistakes and we need to learn from them. We can ask heavenly father to help us do better and feel the spirit to know we've been forgiven. Mikey: TALK on baptism Peter: After we are baptized, we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. One morning my mom was driving on the freeway, when she felt impressed to slow down and change lanes behind a big truck. Just as she switched lanes, a van came across all the lanes of the freeway, hitting the cars in the lane my mom had just been in. I am thankful she listened to the guiding voice of the Holy Ghost. SONG: If I Listen with My Heart Valiant 9-11: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him ( James 1:5).
