PTIndosatTbk.(theCompany)wasestablishedbytheGovernmentonNovember10th,1967asa
foreigninvestmentcompanytoprovideinternationaltelecommunicationsservicesinIndonesiaand
began commercial operations in September 1969 to build, transfer and operate an International
TelecommunicationsSatelliteOrganization,orIntelsat,earthstationinIndonesiatoaccessIntelsats
IndianOceanRegionsatellitesforaperiodof20years.

According to article 3 of its Articles of Association, the Company shall engage in providing
telecommunicationnetworks,telecommunicationservicesaswellasinformationtechnologyand/or
convergencetechnologyservicesbyconductingthefollowingactivities:
Provision of telecommunication networks, telecommunication services as well as information
technologyand/orconvergencetechnologyservices,includingbutnotlimitedtoprovisioningof
basictelephonyservices,multimediaservices,internettelephonyservices,networkaccesspoint
services, internet services, mobile telecommunication networks and fixed telecommunication
networks;
Engaging in the payment transaction and money transfer service through telecommunication
networksaswellasinformationtechnologyand/orconvergencetechnology;
Planning, procurement, modifying, built, providing, developing, operating, leasing, rent,
maintaining infrastructures/facilities including resources to support the Company business in
providing telecommunication networks, telecommunication services as well as information
technologyand/orconvergencetechnologyservices;
Business and operating activities (including development, marketing and sales of
telecommunication networks, telecommunication services as well as information technology
and/orconvergencetechnologyservicesbytheCompany),includingresearch,customerservices,
educationandcoursesbothdomesticandoverseas;
Supporting and/or related with the provision of telecommunication networks,
telecommunication services as well as information technology and/or convergence technology
servicesincludingbutnotlimitedtoelectronictransactionsandprovisionofhardware,software,
contentaswellastelecommunicationmanagedservices.
