2010-2011 Census Bureau, US Dept. of Commerce Field Representative Conduct detailed interviews for the American Housing Survey Report to Senior Field Representative on status of selected addresses Maintain security of confidential information and equipment, via encryption software, and physical security measures. Enumerator Interview residents at addresses that did not return a 2010 Census questionnaire. Record respondents answers on 2010 Census questionnaire, in format suitable for optical scanning.

CALMONT WIRE & CABLE, Santa Ana, CA

2003-2009 $7 million custom cable manufacturer for medical, military, and aerospace industries. Design Engineer Designed over 90% of all new cable projects. From hook-up wire, to 56conductor composite cables. Read and interpreted customer drawings, discussed priorities with customer and Sales. Wrote product descriptions for a database of proprietary designs, and for Sales proposals. Made CAD drawings for Production line using AutoCad. Wrote Source Control Drawings for release to customer. Sourced outside materials for cost and suitability when not in stock. Maintained database for sales quotations. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 1) Streamlined the design-proposal process, reducing turn-around-time by days. 2) Designed searchable databases for custom designs, and catalog products.

Account Manager Principal factory contact for the customer. Responsible for domestic and international sales, prevented ITARS products from being sold overseas without authorization. Worked with Field Sales in assigned territories. Unassigned territories were the Account Managers responsibility. Responsible for approximately 35% of company sales. 2002-2003

Manufacturer of load cells and scale systems. Inside Sales Representative Sold load cells for industrial applications. On-board scale systems for the trucking and construction industries. Floor and Fork-Lift scales for warehouse operations. Parts and accessories. Worked closely with distribution network to coordinate installation and service of on-board scale systems. Cross-referenced competitors load cell designs to SI/Revere Transducers designs. Gathered competitive information for meet-comp price proposals.

AMERICAN ZETTLER, Aliso Viejo, CA

1984-2001 $30M Manufacturer of relays, transformers, and LCDs International Sales Manager Sought out, interviewed, and signed international distributors. Assisted, and promoted sales through local sales forces around the world with a combination of technical information, and local product demonstration. Worked closely with global customers (e.g. General Electric). Wrote press releases for new products. Averaged 2/month. Displayed products at international trade fairs (Hong Kong, Sao Paulo). ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 1) Prototyped a relay design to solve a specific customer problem resulting in a 10% reduction in customers warranty service calls, and a $500k order, and a new customer that ordered over 400k additional parts. 2) 2001 Sales (through September) 15% over budget ($2M vs. $1.75M).

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

1) Designed, created, and maintained a comprehensive cross-reference list with over 50k entries, enabling the Sales Department to provide quick and accurate information to potential new customers.
