PRAYER AND PRAISE

Pray that the Lord would heal Jim Baker of all his cancer and other illnesses, and restore the strength of his youth. Pray that the Lord would be with the people in our community who are experiencing challenging family situations. May He bring peace to those who are struggling with broken hearts. Guide us to give comfort where it is needed and be compassionate without judgement. Praise the Lord for the growing impact of Alianza, the newest church plant in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It has the privilege of being the only evangelical church in this small community and has been invited to participate in community events, including business inaugurations and the upcoming live Christmas nativity.

Are you new to this facility?

We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that: The toilets are located down the passage to the right as you exit the sanctuary. The Preschool ministry begins at the start of the service in the Creche, and 5-13 year olds are dismissed part way through the service for Sunday School. Information on who we are, as well as on all of our ministries are available online at www.whac.net.nz Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat.

From 19-22 January, the Alliance churches of NZ are sending a work team of men and women down to Christchurch to support the efforts of the Burwood Christian Centre as they continue to help those affected by the Christchurch earthquakes. The cost of the trip will not exceed $200, and registration forms need to be submitted before 29 November.

Prayer for the Believer of Jesus

I bless you for the day you have made, Mighty Lord God, and pray that I may spend this day rejoicing in your creation. I pray for your Holy Spirit to fill me with the joy of my salvation, so that your light may shine through me into the world, that your honour and glory may be known to all people. Remind me of your blessings, I pray, with every tribulation I may face, so that I may act with energy, forgiveness and love, ever mindful of the grace You have shown to me. Through Christ I pray, Amen

MINISTRIES FOR CHILDREN at WHAC

Ages 0-1 Ages 2-4 Ages 5 - 13 If you need to take your infant out of the service, a play area has been set up in the foyer for your convenience. The Preschool ministry begins at the start of the service, and is located diagonally to the left as you exit the sanctuary. Kids club takes place in the hall during the sermon. A notice will appear on the screen when it is time to dismiss your children.

Dedication to Service
Now, oh heavenly Father, I ask to be called as a witness to your love by the love I extend to others; a precursor of your justice by my unfailing commitment to what is right and good; a lamp set on a hill, reflecting the light of Christ in my forgiveness, mercy and compassion; and a harvester of souls through my humble and dedicated servanthood.
