Motor Vehicles
Registration & Licensing Requirements SouthCarolinaStatelawrequiresyoutohavesufficientliabilityinsuranceandavaliddriverslicenseinordertooperate avehicle.Thetermvehiclegenerallyincludesautomobiles,motorcycles,vans,trailersandboatsregularlyparkedor garagedovernight.Further,yourvehiclemustbeproperlyregistered.EventhoughyouareintheMilitary,youmaybe requiredtoregisteryourvehiclein-stateandobtainanin-statelicensewithinafewmonthsofmoving.Accesscomplete informationoninsurance,driverslicensing,andwhereandhowtoregisteryourvehiclebyvisitingtheState DepartmentofMotorVehicleswebsite.
