he Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code establishes rules of safety governing the design, fabrication, and inspection of boilers, pressure vessels, and nuclear power plant components during construction. The objective of the rules is to assure reasonably certain protection of life and property and to provide a margin for deterioration in service. Advancements in design and materials and the evidence of experience are constantly being added by addenda. Prices include update service through 2009.

Three-year update service includes: Addenda issued on July 1 in 2008 and 2009. Supplements issued for each Code Cases book. Interpretations issued with Edition and Addenda. Note: The Interpretations for each individual Section will be published separately and will be included with the update service to that Section until the publication of the 2010 Code.
