PRECIOUS DINNEY .C. 1. INTRODUCTION

Information Communication Technology ICT has been defined by scholars like Molly Wischhusen, Andrew Scales, Janet Snell and many others in the past in different ways with different perspective in the light of their own presumptions. In my own view of understanding ICT means management of computer based data, information or ideas particularly software applications and computer hardware which enables organizations and industries to increase their efficiency with the management of staff and reduce labour, therefore maximizing profit to allow expansion and future business within different regions.

2. THE USE OF ICT IN CINE-WORLD CINEMA

The use of ICT in cinemas has brought about ongoing development like from 2K stereo to digital 3-D stereoscopic projection which has led to a new willingness on the part of theatres industry also protection against piracy which has helped in maximizing its profit has contributed to its rapid growth in the recent years in the industry.

3. NETWORK TECHNOLOGY
Network technology is the collection of computers and devices which are interconnected thereby facilitating communications and allows sharing of resources and information among interconnected devices.

technology to connectivity without the use of physical wires connected between the receiver, sensors actuators in general connected by a radio, it is portable and flexible to set up and mobility is another benefit because it can be moved from one place to another (Barrett et al., 2003).

The desktop system is a security computer based system which is used in monitoring movements within and outside the cinema which helps in crime reduction. furthermore, the two way radio technology aids for communication and the same technology that is used in two way radios can be placed in other radio forms i.e is a wireless callbox which is a device that can be used for voice communication at security gates and doors.

WIRE NETWORK TECHNOLOGY IN CINE-WORLD CINEMA.

Wired networking technology is applications which are focused on enabling connectivity with the use of physical wires connected between the sender and the receiver.

optics used to project the image and the desired geometrical accuracy of the image production, flat screens being the more common of the two, while the projector provides an excellent viewing experience for projector screens in the cinema.

4. HOW ICT HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE GROWTH OF THE INDUSTRY.

ICT is used to inform decision making and its role in that is to provide accurate data to ensure that the resources used are combined in the most efficient it way possible data to to be maximize accessed output by more at lowest one possible cost, allows than

person at a time on the web page when customers are purchasing tickect and making enquires (on a network) there is better security. Data can be encrypted (coded). Without such sophisticated systems, the cinema would be a great deal less efficient.

5. CONCLUSION
In conclusion to how ICT has encouraged my hobby which is going to the cinema and watching movies, it is a known fact that technology has made the world a global village which has changed the method by which they render services to its customers which has made the implementation and its management easy and faster and more secured to carry out their operations effectively.
