Last name, First name (employee) 4.Job requirements: a)Education and qualifications: - BA in Communication Studies. - MA in Communication Studies or other related domain. - Foreign languages: at least two foreign languages of international circulation (English, French or German), advanced level in at least one. - Computer skills: Ms. Office (very good especially Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook), Corel Draw (good), Adobe Photoshop (medium), Adobe PageMaker (medium). b) Minimum of two years experience c) Other specific requirements: - Qualities: charismatic personality, good negotiating skills - Communication skills: perfect command of Romanian; fluent in speech (no talking difficulties). 5. Labour relations: a). Hierarchical: - Reports to: Directly reports to the Faculty management board; complies with the decisions made by the Public Relations Department of the University, but is not directly accountable to it. - Subordinates: a) The team of practicians formed by volunteer students (no more than 10 persons selected by the PR specialist pursuant to their proposition by the teachers of Public Relations, Argumentation Techniques, Public Relations Campaigns, with the approval of the Faculty board); b) PC and network operator (with whom he/she must collaborate to update the website, as well as in other activities that require the operators input) b). Functional: - The entire teacher body, especially in view of the organization of events such as

symposiums, conferences; - The business environment; - The public authorities (in view of obtaining their support); - Establishes relationships with advertising and publishing companies. 6.Job requirements: (a) Managerial requirements: - Administers the public image of the Faculty of Journalism, maintaining a favourable attitude of the public. - He/she is the credit manager of the PR Budget. - Fulfills all the activities that should be conducted by a spokesperson (facilitates the relationships between the management board with the media, offers information to the media whenever necessary, gives and withdraws the accreditations of journalists in respect of the University). - Together with the management board of the Faculty, he/she mediates the internal conflicts that might occur. - Whenever necessary, he/she offers counseling to the management in respect of their public appearence. - Coordinates the organization of events, delegating tasks to the PR team and closely colaborating with the teachers involved in the respective event. - Is in charge of advertising the Faculty, by means of the specific media. - Atthe beginning of the year, he/she eleborates the Annual Public Relations Plan and whenever necessary proposes plans, events, public relations campaigns to the Management Board. - At least twice a year assesses the students state of mind (and informs the faculty board in this respect). - Every year, he/she organizes The Open gates Day of the Faculty of Journalism. - Maintains the relationships with the business environment, establishing contracts to ensure internships (in specific departments or organizations) for at least 50% of the students in the Faculty; for sponsors in respect of various events. - Participates in the decision-making meetings of the Universitys PR department and contributes to the decision making process within the University, representing the interests of the Faculty of Journalism. (b) Executive requirements: - Implements all the decisions made at the University level and that concern the Faculty of - Journalism as such or in the broader context of the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. - Makes and updates the presentation brochure of the Faculty of Journalism (every year or whenever it is necessary) and other presentation documents/materials. - Puts together and permanently updates the databases and, with the help of the webmaster, updates the faculty website at least once a week or every time it is necessary. - Together with the students PR team reviews the press and other informative materials intended for the internal and external communication. 7. Depending on the current activity of the Faculty, the employee is to fulfill whatever

other tasks required by the management board, according to his/her professional qualifications and skills. 8.
