The check-in desks close 30 minutes before departure. Passengers who do not present themselves at check-in at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of their ight will not be allowed to proceed with checking in for their ight. All passengers including children must present a legally acceptable form of photo ID. Every passenger may take one piece of hand baggage weighing up to 8 kg and with maximum dimensions of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (IATA-Standard) on board. Larger and heavier items of baggage must be checked-in. Please note the new rules governing hand baggage on ights within the European Union which apply as of 06.11.2006. You can read the new rules in full on www.germanwings.com as well as by consulting our General Conditions of Carriage. Excess baggage must be paid for at a rate of 7 euros per kg on ights to European destinations outside Germany. On domestic German ights this fee will be 8.33 EUR (including 19% VAT) per kg. Items of checked baggage weighing up to a total of 20kg per person are carried free of charge. On domestic german ights 19% VAT will also be charged on fees levied for the carriage of outsized or special baggage. Outsized or special baggage must always be notied in advance. You may us of your intention to take such outsized or special baggage with you (e.g. golng bags, ski equipment, surfboards, bicycles) either during your ight booking on our website, by telephone via our call centre or at the Germanwings ticket counter upon payment of a fee. Please note that if you intend to carry sporting weapons that it is only possible to notify us of this via our call centre. Before boarding your ight, please be aware of any immigration requirements (visa or passport) which apply to your destination. Germanwings shall not be liable for any items in your luggage such as medicines, documents, valuables, perishable, fragile, optical or electronic articles, money, jewellery, business documents, keys, cheques and credit cards etc. Tariff Restrictions The fare indicated includes all taxes and charges. Once a booking has been made, changes can be made to it via our website or through the Germanwings Call Centre, up to two hours before departure. A rebooking fee of 25 EUR / 17 GBP / 25 USD / 38 CHF (per person and ight segment) will be charged. (On domestic German ights the rebooking fee is 29.75 EUR (including 19% VAT)). For rebooking by telephone we charge an extra processing fee of 7 EUR per person and ight segment. (On domestic German ights this processing fee is 8.33 EUR (including 19% VAT). If the fare of the originally booked ight is no longer available, we will charge you the difference between the original price and the price which is valid at the time of rebooking. Name changes are not possible. Reservations are person-specic. The names listed in the booking must be identical with the names in the passports. Changes to ight routes are not possible. When booking, you gave your consent to our General Terms of Conveyance (GTCs). You can nd the exact wording of our GTCs in the internet(ABB) under www.germanwings.com.

General Note Your booking for a Germanwings ight contains the ight data valid at this point in time. Due to the capacity situation at various European airports and because ights to destinations outside the European Union are subject to government approval, slight deviations in departure times can occur. For this reason, we recommend that you re-check the validity of ight times up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure time by referring to the ight schedule at our web site www.germanwings.com. Turnover Tax Evidence 19% VAT is displayed as part of the price for domestic German ights and supplementary services (e.g. excess baggage, changes to bookings). Invoices / conrmations of booking for international ights do not show the turnover tax in accordance with Art. 26, Para. 3 UstG (German Turnover Tax Law). If the booking was made with an AirPlus card, this does not entitle you to deduct input tax. The invoice from Lufthansa AirPlus serves this purpose.
