Barack Obama, the president of US came to India on November 6, 2010 and stayed here for next three days.

This four day visit of him in India has been considered as the most important days of his entire trip to Asia. The four day trip was also considered as the important days in the history of India. The trip of Barack Obama was winded up with major tie ups and deals between US and India. He has done many business deals with India to make the future bright of both countries. On Monday, November 8, 2010 there were six government agreements were signed by US government. This is told by Dr. Manmohan Singh in a press conference on the same day. He also added that we have done deals on various major aspects of India and it will definitely improvise the different sectors in India. He also claimed that these deals are beneficial for both India as well as US as it will increase the chance of jobs in US which will help US to improve their economic situations. Agreements signed by both the countries:

Barack Obama There are various issues on which both leaders have discussed and made an agreement on them. The first agreement they have signed is of providing clean energy to India. Both are agreed to set up a center of R& D for clean energy. US will also provide $5 million annually for five years to complete the joint research on bio-fuels, solar energy, and energy efficiency. Other agreement is of MOU that is Memorandum of Understanding. Us has signed agreement of MOU with India. In this, a Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership set up will be prepared for research and development of secure and proliferation resistant reactor systems. It is to establish an India-US Energy Cooperation Program. The benefit is it will help the private sector and their expertise to improve. It is also help to find out the resources to clean energy. In short, it covers all sources of energy like renewable sources etc. There is also a tie up with Barack Obama on climate. He agreed to cooperate on issue of climate change and will provide technical support to study the annual monsoon rains in India. This will help India to improve its capability in predicting monsoon. Monsoon is crucial part in India as it is one of important issue for agriculture sector. Crop weather prediction and predicting floods is crucial to protect our grain market. Under MOU, US also agree on shale gas resources. US agree to provide US technology to assess shale gas resources in India. They will provide access to use their technology for this purpose. The major reason is in India there is no such technology available that helps to exploit shale gas. And on the other side, US is pioneer in the field and thus this agreement will definitely improve our shale gas technology. Both countries also agreed on constructing a Global Disease Detection Centre in India. It will be implemented by a proper plan and mutual agreement of National

Centre for Disease Control, India and the Centre for Disease Control, Atlanta. This will help to find out the solutions of emerging infections and also to provide best practices for detection. Under the agreement of MOU, a Ten C-17 Globe master III military transport aircrafts worth $ 4.1 billion will be expected to buy. Boeing Aircraft Company is expected to make an agreement which ultimately support 22160 jobs in US. There is also chance of another deal of six C-17 aircrafts in coming weeks. India private airline company Spice jet is expecting to buy 30 B737800 planes worth $ 2.7 billion which will support 12.970 jobs. There is also plan to make a deal between India and Boeing for replacing the Old Russian fighter planes and buy new jets worth $ 10 billion the new jets. With this deal, India will be the part of forty five nations. Another deal is on electricity and is between Nuclear Suppliers Group by General Electric.
