Admission Policy EXAM DETAILS There will be one exam per foundation level exam which will be closed book with 100 multiple choice questions offered by computerbased testing. You should attempt all multiple choice questions; as marks are not deducted for incorrect answers. You will be permitted to bring in a non-programmable, non-text retrievable financial calculator to the exam. You will be supplied with an erasable note board to use as scratch paper. Prior to attempting the exam, you will be required to agree to a Non Disclosure agreement and also complete a short online tutorial which will allow you to familiarise yourself with the software. These activities are not included in your overall exam appointment time of 225 minutes. On the day of the test Please ensure you arrive at the test centre at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This will give you adequate time to complete the necessary sign-in procedures. Note: CPA Australia or Pearson VUE will not be held responsible for expenses incurred beyond the cost of the exam, including but not limited to travel expenses and lost wages on the day of the exam. WHAT I NEED TO BRING ON THE DAY 1. Your primary ID document MUST contain your photograph and signature. You will also be asked to sign your name as confirmation of your signature and a photograph will be taken. Both will be stored electronically as part of the security requirements for sitting the exam; 2. Your secondary ID document must contain either your photograph OR signature; CHECK-IN PROCEDURE The check-in procedure will include identification (ID) verification. You must provide two forms of ID documentation to enter the venue for the exam. See point 1 and 2 above. You will be required to present your ID documentation at reception. Your personal details need to be the same as that shown on your Identification Documents (ID) you are required to present at the Test Centre. BREACH OF EXAM REGULATIONS You will NOT be allowed to take any items (electronic or not) with you into the testing room including but not limited to study manuals, personal items, notes, phones, pagers and electronic watches. Food, drinks and tobacco are not allowed. Limited storage space will be made available to you by way of a secure locker or storage facilities where any personal items may be stored prior to entering the testing room. Any breach of exam regulations or misconduct associated with the exam may result in the candidate being dismissed from the Test Centre by CPA Australia or Pearson VUE personnel. The exam may not be scored, it may be cancelled or results withheld. Disciplinary action may also be taken. After the exam Results and a candidate feedback report will be available directly after the exam at the Test Centre. You will also be able to access your result securely on the Pearson VUE and CPA Australia websites. Reschedule Policy EXAM ADMINISTRATION Change of exam appointment date, time and location You may do this between the advertised dates via the Pearson VUE booking system. Changes to exam appointment 1. After scheduling an exam appointment, candidates may change their exam date, time and location up to four (4) business days before their scheduled exam appointment. No fees apply. Changes to exam appointments are subject to availability. Changes can be made by contacting Pearson VUE either online or via phone. 2. Candidates may change their exam appointment from three (3) days to one (1) day before the exam. A fee of $40 AUD is payable to Pearson VUE. 3. No changes to an exam appointment can be made on the day of the scheduled exam appointment.
