Description : Flexible Shaft is a flexible spring whose one end connected to motors shaft & at the another end brush is attached. This Flexible shaft is used for cleaning of Boiler tube, evaporator tube, condenser tube. During cleaning of tubes(scale inside the tube), sometimes excessive load comes on the flexible shaft to remove hard scale., which leads to breakage of flexible shaft. Solution: - Joining of broken spring with Xuper 16 XFC.

Advantages: - 1) Low co-efficient of friction. 2) Thin flowing 3) Superior wettability and bonding. 4) High tensile strength (1,00,000 PSI ) The life has been increased to 20 days from 2-3 days (frequently breaking). Previous Solution : - Brazing of broken spring with local brass brazing rod .
