History
1979 Raychem Corp., USA sets up trading subsidiary 1986 Manufacturing setup in Vasai, Mumbai 1989 Raychem RPG Ltd. formed (Raychem Corporation, USA & RPG Group) 1999 Raychem Corp. taken over by Tyco (Tyco becomes JV partner) 2002 Take over of Canara Electricals (Rectifier Business) 2004 New factory for Rectifiers near Mumbai 2006 100% Export unit set up for Tyco global supplies 2006 Entry into Gas Meters with technology from GWI, UK 2007 Entry into Transformer business; plant setup in Pune 2008 RRL set up office in Middle East at Dubai 2009 Energy Meter business & 2nd Transformer plant in North India
