Improved the depth and responsiveness of the HR function through reorganization and tailored job responsibilities. Remediated poor new employee orientation practices by developing and introducing a remote employee on-boarding process utilizing Recruiting, HR Specialist and trained site contacts to provide a uniform orientation employing IT network resources. Upgraded and enhanced performance evaluations. Introduced a new pilot Performance Evaluation instrument that assessed employee engagement, and competency while providing career path coaching and support. Supervised 4 HR professionals providing guidance and support to more than 650 South Carolina and Tennessee based employees in operations that included 6 DOE remediation sites, a trucking company, engineering and commercial operations support, and fixed based waste processing and waste disposal sites. Enabled a $20K increase in revenue per employee. Realigned the organizational structure in operations to reduce downtimes and increase throughput. Created and managed the HR and Training departments within a new 4-site restart of a long abandoned facility. Drove delivery of HR services to 550 employees while holding full fiduciary accountability for the companys 401K and benefit plans. Hired, oriented, and trained 350 employees in 90 days.
