Juvonen et al (2007) decided to research whether the usage of alcohol and marijuana use among the same aged

young people increases if they thought their usage is common age their peers. The study is thought to reduce the amount of alcohol and marijuana consumption among the young people if they were shown by the study (survey) that their usage is highly over-estimated and that their usage is not as common as thought. The seventh graders from randomly assigned control schools in this case were given the questionnaires regarding their alcohol and marijuana use from which the results showed that more of the students overestimated alcohol and marijuana use among their peers. The results were produced as regression models which predicted the perceptions of the perceived prevalence of alcohol use among the seventh graders is related to the frequency of the alcohol use among the eight graders but this is not the same for marijuana use providing students own frequency of use at 7th grade.

This journal is based upon the information of performance enhancing drug, used mainly for sport activity enhancement. Most athletes use this drug for growth of hormones, to kill their pain so they can continue to compete and perform beyond their usual pain thresholds. Main points given in this journal is conventional drug testing, unreliable reports and also prevalence estimates. By substituting the FCE theory to PED in a sport perspective, It is proven that athletes who consume PED, they misjudge the frequency of doping the sport played by them or any other sport compared to the ones who do not utilize these drugs. A small extent of guide study was carried out to institute the existence of the FCE in relation to doping. This guide study was expected to prove that FCE is available and present

in the observation of doping actions. This study also comes useful to validate the quantity device designed to achieve self reported information from the athletes. Rationale: Study1 : The rationale of this study is based upon letting the youth know that the amount of drug and alcohol thought to be consumed by their peers are some what over-estimated, which can lead to fewer young people consuming them, hence this can be the effect of the perceived prevalence of drug use, which was the aim of the study to examined.

Study2: The rationale for this study is that by studying the FCE based approach; there could be a technique for developing a self report method relating to PED use performance. The aim of the study is justified by this rationale since the existence of FEC proposes estimating doping popularity and behaviour changes in others.

Study 1: The limitation is that the subjects were given the questionnaire to fill in, which is a self-report data; the problem with this is that the subjects could have provided over-estimated or under-estimated report as the problem behaviour is suspect for drug user, which also depends on their age. Second most important limitation to this research is believed to be that the researched subjects were predominately white and from the single Midwestern state therefore this research cannot be surely applied to the whole ethnicity because it is not known whether the research results will be the same for most adolescents with diverse background.

Study2: first of the most important limitation could be that the research is based on self reported data, which is not a very reliable source as the participants could have been not very accurate or truthful. The second
