Tony has been asked to produce a short story. Fig. 1 shows the first page of his handwritten 
story. Fig. 2 shows the same page after Tony typed it into a word processing package. 

The wise frog. Once upon a time in the land of Roc there was a very old
frog whose name was Gronk. Gronk lived in the reeds by the side of a
large lake called Rocwater. Shish, a sorry looking grey heron, visited the
lake most days looking for food. His favourite food was fish and young
frogs. When Gronk was younger he had escaped the long spear like beak
of Shish by hopping into a hollow log. Shish had missed Gronk and hit the
log with his beak. He had split his beak and hated Gronk from that day on.
He was determined that one day he would get his revenge and catch
Gronk in the open. Young frogs that also lived in the reeds respected
Gronk because of his brave escape, and for the advice he often gave
them.
