Comfort, safety and communication in homes and small businesses

Life is simple for your customers. With you, they can choose the level of comfort, safety and communication for their living space. These separate functions can be combined and controlled remotely. And if your customers requirements change, they can add to their installation by simply calling you.

What does it do?

Do your customers want a pleasant lighting environment when friends visit, or low lighting for watching their home cinema ? Do they dream of you installing a switch for them that will turn off all the lights, reduce the heating and activate the alarm when they leave the house, all with just one press ? To meet these requirements, Legrand has created In One by Legrand , the system that enables everyone to choose their own level of comfort, safety and communication for their home or small business.

A la carte scenarios
With In One by Legrand , your customers can create numerous scenarios to suit their needs and preferences For example : Turning off all the lights at once when you leave for work. If you want, this single operation can also activate the alarm and/or reduce the heating to economy mode Switching between various different lighting environments for reading, watching the television, having a drink or a meal Using the internet, the television or the telephone in any room in the house Chasing off intruders and being kept informed by telephone or the internet Switching off the lights in the lounge, lowering the roller blinds and switching on the home cinema

Operating principle
A new switch: the scenario switch, is used to create scenarios that make life simpler. Combined with new In One by Legrand products that communicate with one another, it controls the electrical installation in the house, centralising all the controls or controls it remotely via a web server.

(1) Mobile phone with internet or WAP connection

The system In One by Legrand has been designed to be easy to change as your customers needs, preferences and budgets change. The living scenarios can be changed at any time. For example, continue to turn off the lights and change the air conditioned in a single operation, and add on the option to leave the blinds open or simultaneously close them. You can also add to your customers installations by fitting additional scenario switches and fitting new rooms with In One by Legrand switches.

LIGHTING AUTOMATION SYSTEM

>>>

Lighting and level of light, a perfectly managed compromise

When the management devices use motion detection linked to daylight, the lighting only comes on when the level of light drops below a certain threshold, preset at the time of installation.

The level of light is sufficient : lighting remains off.

The level of light increases slightly : lighting adapts (in variation) or remains on.

> Reduction of the consumption of energy of the tertiary buildings. > No vertical wiring for a simplified installation and maintenance. > More comfort and freedom of use with radio and infra-red orders

The level of light becomes lower than the preset threshold : lighting ignites at once.
