Summary
The Worldwide Workflow Survey respondents indicated they wanted continuing education regarding Workflow. WARNING this is not reversible. It should only be done if you want to stop the work flow and cancel any open work items currently in agents inboxes. How to Logically Delete Work Items

Logically Deleting Work Items WARNING this is not reversible. It should only be done if you want to stop the work flow and cancel any open work items currently in agents inboxes. This could be used to clean up workflows with errors for which a new workflow instance was started. Background: If a work item is in ERROR status and you are not going to correct the work item, you may want to logically delete the item to remove it from the agents inbox. Steps to Execute Logically Delete Work Item First click the link from the workflow log to open the top-level work item.

Use the menu path Edit -> Change. If you do not see this menu option, first Goto -> Technical work item display. This varies based on the type of work item.

How to Logically Delete Work Items

Click EXECUTE next to LOGICALLY DELETE.

Click the Delete Button. The workflow log should now be updated and the work item should be out of the agents workflow inbox.
