There are places in the school that have technology that are beyond basic, but there are still numerous room that still use overheads, chalk and chalkboards. Very few staff use technology to assess student understanding and no students use technology. Limited resources are available within the school and the focus is on traditional testing methods. Curriculum is text book based with very limited technology use when initiated by individual teachers. Library and computer (keyboarding) classes are the only classes that use technology in their curriculum Few teachers use Internet resources to create worksheets or occasionally supplement curriculum to meet learning objectives Most teachers have one computer in their room and use overheads and chalkboards to present information Technology is used to give students who need remediation something to do while the teacher works with other students. Occasionally programs will be used for enrichment.

Very few students have consistent access to technology. Many students will only use technology only three or four times in a year doing final drafts of big projects Very few people are aware of the process the building uses to make decisions. When they are made there is no opportunity for input.
