SGA meets this week in the Auditorium on Wednesday. Student fees are overdue. Please settle your balance as soon as possible. As a college student, fees must be paid in order to remain at CVCC. If your student fee isnt paid: your enrollment status is terminated with CVCC, then you are withdrawn as an early college student (with CHS and CVCC) and enrolled at your home district high school. CHALK TALK coming again soon! Remember the directions: answer the prompt, write only appropriate comments, use Standard English only (no text language), and you can respond to each other on the CHALK TALK. Students that wear leggings: make sure to wear shorts, skirts, etc. OVER leggings as they are not pants. Any student that doesnt comply with the Catawba County Dress Code will call their parents in order to get a change of clothes. Please check grades for CVCC classes via BlackBoard for each of your college classes. There is a BlackBoard link on the CHS website. Periodically checking your CVCC grades is critically important to staying up-to-date with your progress in college classes. Use of absences in CVCC or CHS classes is strictly prohibited except for actual sickness, unavoidable conflicts, etc. Bottom line: all students must be in class as scheduled.
Note: Abuse of absences in CVCC or CHS classes is unbecoming behavior for early college students. If a student must miss class, they must notify their instructor and attempt to complete missed work. The Early College Guidebook (given at Open House) relays all policies and procedures for absences.
