Many believes don't fully understand the wickedness of the first century
generation in which the kingdom of Cod was ES1ABLISHED and Began to
advance. It was a generation likened unto Aoah's and Sodom.
1he amazing thing is that this generation was chosen to be the generation, in
which 1esus was born, died, and sent the Holy Spirit.

If the kingdom could be established and advance in the first century generation, then it can
surely advance in any generation.
Believers oIten make the mistake oI applying these verses to the present generation, but the
context makes them applicable to the generation that was living during the days oI Christ, the
Iirst century generation. Jesus came at the end oI Israel`s age, in the Fulness oI time, when the
harvest oI wickedness was ripe. Revelation 14:15- And another angel came out oI the temple,
crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: Ior the time
is come Ior thee to reap; Ior the harvest oI the earth is ripe. This was a part oI the end time
harvest, the harvest in the last days oI Old Covenant Israel.

Matthew 17:17
Then Jesus answered and said, O Iaithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you?
How long shall I suIIer you? Bring him hither to me.

1he generation that 1esus ministered to was identified as faithless and perverse. It was a
wicked and untoward generation.

Acts 2:40
And with many other words did he testiIy and exhort, saying, Save yourselves Irom this
untoward generation.
It was a generation of vipers.
Matthew 23:33
Ye serpents, ye generation oI vipers, how can ye escape the damnation oI hell?

1esus pronounced judgment on that generation.

Matthew 12:42
The queen oI the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it:
Ior she came Irom the uttermost parts oI the earth to hear the wisdom oI Solomon; and, behold, a
greater than Solomon is here.

Matthew 23:35-37
That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, Irom the blood oI righteous
Abel unto the blood oI Zacharias son oI Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the
altar.
Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee,
how oIten would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens
under her wings, and ye would not!


It was a demonized generation.



Matthew 12:45
Then goeth he, and taketh with himselI seven other spirits more wicked than himselI, and they
enter in and dwell there: and the last state oI that man is worse than the Iirst. Even so shall it be
also unto this wicked generation.
hrist was rejected by that generation.

1he church in the first century was a chosen generation.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye
should shew Iorth the praises oI him who hath called you out oI darkness into his marvellous
light;

1hey were chosen to see the establishment of the Kingdom. 1he kingdom has
come, and it will advance from generation to generation!!
