See here: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/northumbria_police_press_offi ce#outgoing-166624 Northumbria Police wrote to me on 25 July 2011 and included following; Northumbria Police Media and Communications Team has dealt with two enquiries regarding infringements of Northumbria Police copyright on Facebook during May and June 2011. They are detailed below. 23/06/11 - 3.03pm: Telephone enquiry from a reporter at the Evening Chronicle asking: Question: Have we tried to get Facebook to remove a group called "Martin McGartland - Northumbria Police are not up to the job" and if so why? Reason for Request: He had received a call to say this is the case. Reply: Northumbria Police has requested the removal of on-line data containing copyright material. 24/06/11 - 12.24pm: Follow up telephone enquiry from same reporter: Question: What is the copyright material? Reason for request: Clarification. Reply: Force logo. (ENDS)

Noerhumbria Police stated Force Logo, they lied to me and also the press. Why? It is very simple, they are covering-up and protecting Detective Chief Superintendent Chris Thomson. Moreover, Northumbria Police will have information and details concerning their complaint to facebook, however, I say they are concealing the information and covering that up too. The fact is that Northumbria Police are lying and covering-up at every stage. The Freedom of Information Act states that it is a criminal offence to deliberately destroy, alter or conceal a record to prevent disclosure of requested information. www.martinmcgartland.co.uk
