Comments: Cory jumped right in with helping, preparing, and interacting with the children from the start. He will ask questions when he is not sure on our policy.

Comments Cory does a great job with the children. They have really enjoyed having him in the room. Cory has made up songs to help a few children follow through on tasks and he takes the time to help the children finish projects when it fits into the schedule. Cory has asked and looked at different forms to get to know the children and he has even went on a few home visits and IEP meetings. TEACHING AND LEARNING: NAEYC STANDARD 4 3. Comments: Cory has basically taken over the room already. He knows the Content Standards and implements them in each activity. I notice Cory needs to be aware of the time for each activity and also be aware of all the students during center time. It is very easily to get distracted on the small group and not the whole class. It will come with time. Cory has implement our assessments strategies in the classroom, however, I would like to see him use other forms of assessments that he has learn in school such as a checklist. Comments: Cory has sent home a letter about himself to the families. He has had the opportunity to talk to a few parents here at school. Starting this week he will be writing notes home to the parents each day to let them know how their child did that day. BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL: NAEYC STANDARD 5 6. Comments; Cory works well with all staff member in the Starlight school. He talks to other teachers and the IEP team about certain children.

Comments: I feel Cory is doing very well and he tries different ways of teaching when I have made suggestions to him. He has stayed later for special activities he have done and also he has come in on Mondays to attend meetings and home visits.
