1. what are different between city and village? It is a firm belief on the part of people that there is a big difference between village life and city life. It is absolutely true that the life in a village and that in a city varies so much that the difference is glaring at times. In fact it can very well be said that people living in cities are different from people living in villages. It is normal feeling amongst us that city life is more enjoyable than village life. It is only an assumption. City life is endowed with a lot of advantages. This is because of the fact that there are a number of opportunities open to you in a city. City life is provided with a lot of facilities too. You would not find many facilities and opportunities in a village. Parents would be happy to send their children to cities for higher studies rather than to villages. Cities are endowed with quality higher education institutions whereas villages are not endowed with high quality colleges and universities. In addition to schools and colleges, city life is preferred for improved medical facilities. If someone falls ill in the family, you tend to take him or her to a popular hospital in a city since villages are not equipped with the best of medical attention. The number of hospitals in a city and the facilities are far more when compared to that in a village. A city has banks, cinema theaters, parks, golf courses, sports stadiums, clubs, hostels and shopping malls. The behavior of people in a city is different from that of the people in a village. People in a city are generally unfriendly and they maintain distant from others. The people in villages on the other hand are warm-hearted and friendly. Villagers receive you well where as citydwellers tend to be within doors. People in villages are very helpful in nature whereas people living in cities tend to be more selfish in their attitude. A city is characterized by various kinds of pollution such as noise pollution, visual pollution and air pollution. This is due to that fact that there a number of factories, industries and mills in a city than in villages. Hence villages are endowed with pure air devoid of pollution. Visual and noise pollution are also less in villages. Since village life is calm and quiet and bereft of pollution of any kind, older people tend to settle down in villages after their retirement from service.

2. Which location would you prefer to live in? Sometime you may be think, the city life is better than village life. However there are so many advantages and disadvantages in city life and village life.Actually the city life is more comfortable. As well as there are more opportunities for people to progress in their lives. There are a lot of facilities for people in the city and they have more opportunities for making money. Children living in the city can get a good education, because there are better school in the town than in the village. When a person falls ill there are good government and private hospital in the city to get treatment. There are large shop complexions, banks, offices, cinemas, hostels, clubs, hospitals etc. in and around the city. People in the city have better transport facilities than the village. There is electricity, highway, communication, telecommunication, plumb facilities in the city. So people can lead a comfortable and enjoyable fife in the city.Although living in the city has many advantages there are some disadvantages too. The cost of living is very high in the city. Most goods are very expensive. There is no fresh air and pure water. The environment is polluted with dust, smoke, garbage and dioxide gases from factories. Most of the people who live in the city are corrupted. So there are lots of crimes in the city. Many thefts and murders often take place in the city. The city is always busy and noisy. There are a lot of vehicles and people in the road. The streets are dusty and unclean. So it is hard to lead a healthy life in the city. As well as there are so many advantages in the village life. Mainly the people of the village live in unity and peace. The villagers earn money very hard and earn money enough for live. So they live less competition with each other. So they can reach a good position. They have more friends in the community since it is small. The village people always try to protect their traditional habits and culture. The village has clean air and the environment is very beautiful. The village has less noise and rush. So the pollution is less. The village has not lot of vehicles. So roads are less dangerous for driving cycling. They can get fresh vegetables and fresh fruits. The environment of the village is pleasant and silent and it has scenic beauty. The village has not only good points, but also it has bad points. The village has intelligent people. But many people are not educated. Villagers children go to the villages school. They are not go to the citys school. They have difficult to keep up with new developments in their field or profession. Same day villagers live same place. Village people have to face many difficulties for their lives , like traveling problems. They have to go to the city for supply their needs. Although the life in the city is more comfortable than village, I like village life than city. 3. what are the advantages and disadvantages of living in city? Advantages: easy access to shopping, different kinds of restaurants, and cultural events. Plenty of people to choose from in finding friends. Usually good hospitals/medical care.

Travel is easier - airports, trains, etc. Laws usually control things like loose dogs and prohibit inappropriate land use, such as a factory in a residential area. More kinds of jobs available. Better access to universities. You may not need a car. There is usually more tolerance of individual excentricities. Disadvantages: crowding - people wherever you go, so it's hard to be by yourself. Your neighbors may be able to hear everything you say or do. Noise levels can be very unpleasant. More air pollution than outside city. Often higher crime rates and poor schools, although many rural and suburban schools aren't that hot, either. Costs more for less land, and the taxes are higher. Many limitations on what you can do with your property due to strict zoning. Usually no place to grow your own vegetables or many flowers. Many cities have infestations of rats or cockroaches, but not as many mice as in the country. If you have a cat, you probably have to keep it indoors. 4. what are the advantages and disadvantages of living in village? advantages: private, freedom to do whatever you want, close to nature, more simple life, more relaxed, healthier, grow your own veggies, raise animals, more exercize, less media/outside influence, learn how to entertain yourself more, makes you more hardworking, close-knit communities, cheaper houses, can buy your own land, less crime. disadvantages: can be lonely, lots of hard work, small communities can sometimes be hard to fit into, limits job oppertunities, harsh weather, can become bored easily if you're not used to country/village life, less out of touch with the world, farther away from things like grocery stores, malls, lots of driving, etc. 5. how are the pollution levels of city and village? Air pollution is the introduction of chemicals, particulate matter, or biological materials that cause harm or discomfort to humans or other living organisms, or cause damage to the natural environment or built environment, into the atmosphere. The atmosphere is a complex dynamic natural gaseous system that is essential to support life on planet Earth. Stratospheric ozone depletion due to air pollution has long been recognized as a threat to human health as well as to the Earth's ecosystems. The high pollution level is in the city because in city there are many source of pollution, they are manufacturing facilities (factories) and waste incinerators, Mobile Sources, Waste deposition in landfills, Fumes from paint, hair spray, varnish, aerosol sprays and other solvents. The people in the city also dont very care about pollution,so they make pollution more worse everyday. In village the pollutin level is low, because there are not much pollution sources in the village.
