Youth Group
Youth Carol-O-Grams & Christmas Party: Saturday, December 17th, the Stained Glass Teen Choir will drive around town delivering plates of cookies and singing carols for friends of Chaparral. Non-teen choir members are welcome to join the teen choir in this fun, annual Christmas event. Students should meet at Church at 5 p.m. and dress for the weather. Upon the choir's return from carolo-grams between 7-7:30 p.m. (precise time TBD) all Jr. and Sr. High students are invited to our White Elephant Christmas party at the home of the Perrine's. Students should bring an inexpensive, new or used, wrapped gift for the White Elephant gift exchange as well as an appetizer to share. All students, members and non-members of the teen choir, are encouraged to participate in the Carol-o-grams earlier in the evening before the party. Carol-o-gram participants may leave their gift and appetizer at the Church. Luminaria assembly is today, December 4th, from 11-12:30 at the East House. Stay after service for lunch and luminary making with friends and parents! Last year we had a great group of students and a number of parents help, enabling us to finish about 1,300 luminaria in just over an hour! We hope to have as many hands today so that we may be as efficient this year.

Helpful Information
We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad you are here today!
We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear from everyone! Communion/Lords Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along. Offering In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving as you are led. Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
