The vision of a young man took form first with a bookstore and healing center, then with a church that grew from the desire of a community to join together to celebrate spirituality, healing, sustainable living, joy, and learning. Rev. Kyle Hutchinson, w ith

help from family and friends, transformed his childhood home at the southeast corner of Power and Riggs Roads into Earth Spirit Church and Earth Spirit Center for Healing. Weekly services, monthly Healing Nights, Lightworkers, classes, and teachers are all available now in Queen Creek.

After a lot of planning and paperwork the first service was on Sunday October 9. He had envisioned a church that would attract people who are seekers of something more than a cookie cutter style of church. Each week adds a little of each type of religion into his sermons and creates a message that is enlightening and relevant. I was just driving by and felt I had to come in

By Jeanette Tecca I have been a resident of Queen Creek for about 8 years and about one year ago I drove by this very cute house with these huge old trees out front and a sign that said Earth Spirit Center for Healing. I always wondered what it w as. I found myself driving by numerous times and one day I decided to stop in and take a look, see what this place was all about. I walked to the front door and saw a w elcome sign and walked in. I was greeted by Rev. Kyle Hutchinson with a w arm smile and he immediately asked if he could help me. I asked, what is this place? He explained, Earth Spirit Center is a place for all faiths to come and meet together and learn and grow spiritually. Reiki and many different types of classes and yoga. He also showed me some books from his store that I would like. I was excited to know more and knew I needed to be part of this. In 2009 I started looking for help with an illness that had changed my life. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had surgery to remove it. The group of people that I have met at Earth Spirit Center has helped me transform my life by offering that help and I am better now and will be forever grateful.

I have a class. We need classes.

Im looking for a place to offer a series of classes in practical spirituality. Ive had three people in the past three days ask me w hen were going to be offering classes here. Coincidence? No. Rev. Kyle and Dr. Luccia found each was led to explore and eventually offer a program that now forms the core of the Earth Spirit Church Ordination program. Practical Mysticism, says Dr. Luccia, Is intended to help anyone w ho is currently a healer, counselor, teacher, Lightworker or minister deepen their understanding of various world religions, spiritual traditions, and practices. Opening to Peace, Balance, Healing for All

that keep them from accessing their authenticity. As a visionary, I teach people to shift from ordinary thinking in order to access their inherent power -- the wisdom of the soul. My background includes 30 years working in the corporate world, 15 years as a massage practitioner and body worker. I have done extensive work with the elderly and handicapped as well as working with hospice patients in their process of transition. In 1984 I had a powerful experience w hile traveling in Egypt. I was in the temple of Hathor when I felt and saw a golden energy moving through my body. I then started to sway and lift my arms above my head and as this happened the most beautiful sounds came from me. Simultaneously I heard the words, This is the way we used to talk to God. It was a gradual process for me, to allow the sounds to come through no matter w hat they sounded like to my linear mind. I had to let go of any idea that there was a, right, way. Over the years I have toned for individuals as well as group settings through out the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Russia. Currently, I offer Readings of the Heart, Balancing Through Touch and Sound, private toning classes, and Heart to Heart, group sessions, and Astrology readings. I also offer an ongoing class in Meditation on Saturday afternoons at Earth Spirit Center. Im available at Earth Spirit Center Thursdays from 1 to 6 p.m. Call for an appointment or drop in.

My spiritual journey began in 1980 when I experienced a spiritual opening that completely altered my perception of life. At the time I was going through an emotionally painful divorce and was seeing a therapist. That particular day I felt very, out of sorts in a way I had never experienced. With the therapists encouragement to just let go and allow the emotions to come through, a powerful energy moved through me and I saw and experienced the midnight sky filled with stars and felt an intensity of movement and the need to take a huge breath. Instantly it was as if I woke up. I was fully alert and knew immediately that I had lived before and that I had wisdom. I didn't know what that wisdom was but I could feel it as a knowing within as well as a profound peace. This peace is an anchor that has never left me. In 1982 I became a licensed massage practitioner which enabled me to work with the energy that flowed through me so naturally. At the end of each session I would place my hand on the client's heart and read the energy I w as seeing or I would relate messages regarding certain issues in their life. Thus began what I call my Readings of the Heart. Grounded in the knowledge gained from my own transformational process, I act as a stabilizing force that allows others to move through fear, belief, etc.

From a series of classes to a full program, ESC offers more & more
But, its also for every person who wants to know more and deepen their knowledge. Its inclusion of actual practices from these traditions and its series of courses in, Living Life as a Spiritual Being, means that learners also deepen their service in the community and the world. It has never been enough to sit all day and meditate or pray, Dr. Luccia stated, The truly spiritual person is compelled to do something in the everyday world and regular life to make it better. This emphasis on both the real- world and the spiritual fit so perfectly with Rev. Kyles vision of Earth Spirit Church that shortly after classes started in May, 2010, he asked Dr. Luccia to join the Board of Directors and serve as Director of Education. Together, they have encouraged an increasing number of teachers to offer courses ranging from astrology to healthy eating to yoga to meditation to Life Skills for Teens to The next step is the evolution toward the ordination program and certification for Lightworkers.
