'I want it so bad! is usually what comes to mind when most people think oI the
iPhone 4. It is like a necessity Ior some people because oI what it can do and where it
can do it. Like a phone and a computer all in one, the iPhone 4 takes the deIinition oI a
cell phone to a completely diIIerent level. This includes enhances in communication,
internet access, storage, and much more.
In the beginning, the cell was just a new way to communicate with people through
speech and it still is. However, it was only used Ior talking back then, but as time went
on the cell phone changed and begin to become more applicable. It became smaller and
more portable, it gained a screen and buttons, and in the past decade it could access the
internet. And most recently, the cell phone now has touch screens and various
applications (i.e. iPhone 4).
The iPhone 4 has perIectly achieved the original goal oI the cell phone:
communication. Communicating is now so much simpler with the iPhone 4, you can
call, text, email, and even video call. Calling people has never been easier, all you have
to do is tap or speak a name or number (apple.com). You can tap a number Irom
anywhere: your contact list, a text message, and even a website (apple.com). However,
the best part is that you can speak and make a call; this is possible because oI voice
control (apple.com). Texting has also been enhanced to where it looks like an actual

the only things that you can send in an iPhone 4 message, you can send photos, videos, or

on the iPhone 4. You can send and receive email even though you are not at a computer
and even iI you are on the go. Like email, video calling can now be used on the go. The
iPhone 4 has what is called FaceTime, this allows you to video call other people on the
spot (apple.com). The iPhone 4 has completely enhanced the way and the rate in which
people communicate in the present day.
In recent years the cell phone has been adjusted to be able to surI the web and
there is no better way than with the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 uses 'the world`s most
advanced mobile web browser, SaIari (apple.com). With SaIari the iPhone 4 loads up
web pages in a blink oI an eye. When the web page comes up you see the Iull page;
there`s no desktop distractions (apple.com). And iI the Iull page isn`t good enough you
can tap or pinch to zoom in or out. You may also swipe your Iingers to navigate back
and Iorth between web pages, so you do not have to push the back or Iorward button
(apple.com). Having an iPhone 4 is better than having a computer; you can browse on
the go. Besides being time eIIicient when on the web SaIari is very reliable when it
comes to privacy and security. SaIari has an option called Private Browsing which stops
SaIari Irom remembering your browsing history, searches, cookies, and any inIormation
you provide on an online Iorm (apple.com). SaIari is also sandboxed which prevents
