Instructor is responsible to the Director of Instruction, Nursing and Allied Health on the
Marietta Campus. Under minimal supervision, instructor is responsible for: teaching courses in Associate
Degree of Nursing (ADN) program; advising ADN majors; registration; evaluates students' progress in
attaining goals and objectives; attends staff development training, workshops, seminars and conferences;
ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area; meets with students, staff members
and other educators to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues; assists with
recruitment, retention and job placement efforts; and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
ƒ Master’s degree in nursing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ƒ Three years experience in nursing education
ƒ Working knowledge of registered nursing
ƒ Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy skills
ƒ Demonstrated supervisory experience
