UPGRADING SKILLS FOR MILLWRIGHTS Objective To upgrade the competency of local semi-skilled Millwrights with a minimum of only 3 years

s local experience. Minimum Competency Entry Level Must have a basic competency on machinery assembly, installation, alignment, repair, and maintenance. Upgrading Competency Must be able to fabricate or to assemble machineries from pre-fabricated parts, construct foundations, use hoisting and moving equipment to position the equipment and accessories that need to be installed, set and align rotating equipment, engage in equipment repair and maintenance, must have thorough knowledge of the load bearing capabilities of the equipment as well as an understanding of blue print and technical instructions.
