Pastors Notes
I just left Monday Night prayer meeting and what a move of God! William & Judy Hayes felt the Lord leading them to change up the Monday Night Prayer Meeting and Id say it was a big success!!!!! We started by singing praise & worship to the Lord and the Lord was true to His Word.He will inhabit the praises of His people! From singing worship to spontaneous praise, we just flowed into prayer. Praying specifically for a renewed passion and for Revival. I honestly believe we made a giant step forward in experiencing that. Id like to say a big thank you to all who have faithfully attended prayer meeting on Monday night. Id like to say welcome to those who came Monday night for the first time or first time in awhile. I also want to extend a special invitation to everyone of you to come and join us for prayer. I found some notes I had taken in relation to prayer. I dont remember who said them or where I was when I wrote them down, but they are good. These are 7 principles of prayer: 1. Pray out loud (Ps. 91:2, Ps. 42:9) 2. Pray with passion (Luke 22:44) 3. Cry out to God (Matt. 27:46, Mark 10:46-52, Ps. 34:17) 4. Pray over an open Bible (praying the Word of God gets you closer to the will of God) 5. Pray with and in the Spirit 6. Wait on the Lord. Listen with a readiness to obey (God isnt so disappointed in you but FOR you when you dont pray) 7. Wrap your prayer experience with thanksgiving and praise. An invitation from our Prayer Coordinator: Come join us for a time of Worship-Based Prayer, a Transforming Prayer, every Monday at 7:00 PM. The results of transforming prayer are 1-God is glorified, 2-We are sanctified, 3Church is edified, 4-The World is mystified, and 5-The Devil is notified. This coming Saturday and Sunday marks an annual event here at our church. For many years, Gabriels Song, now HIS STORY, has been a premier presentation in the city of Woodruff. This musical/drama is not only a program for our church people, but most importantly it is an outreach opportunity for our community and to whoever attends. With this program being an outreach, it then becomes the responsibility of the entire church to do our part in making it successful. Our Music & Fine Arts Departments have worked extremely hard

in preparing this presentation. Close to 75% of this years program will be new. The set may look the same but there is new music and other things as well. So the way to best help the presentation is two fold.#1 - ALL the church needs to support these presentations with our prayer and with our attendance. Saturdays performance is at 7:00 PM. Sunday nights performance is at 6:00 PM. #2 - Invite your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers to come. Do whatever you have to do to get them here!!! Im convinced that if we can get them here, the Spirit of the Lord will do His job! Please dont forget our Candle light service on Wednesday Evening, December 21st at 7:00 PM. There will be no classes, no bus or vans running, no youth class or Kidz Kafe. Everyone will be in the service for a time of worship and reflections. Christmas Day Schedule: 1 service at 11:00 AM. No bus or vans, no Sunday School, no Kids Kafe There will be a 1 hour worship service with lots of Christmas Carols, video, and scripture. What an awesome opportunity to worship Christ on His birthday!!!!!

Just a reminder: Dont forget to continue putting money in your Missions Bag. We are in the midst of a 6 month project of raising money to build a church in Honduras. If you dont have a bag, stop by the Ladies Ministries Office and get one. Youve still got time to help us build a church!!!!!

Be sure and tell these teachers and the class members a big thank you for their hard work and vision for our future!!!!
