What I would like to do is give you an update on our family and what God is doing in our ministry to Micronesian islanders currently.

Fudge & Carissa

The big news with Carissa & Fudge Fajardo is that they will have a new baby in March 2012, Lord willing. They are happy that they found out it will be a girl. They just had a baby shower at the end of November and

we are excited for them. They moved back here to Hawaii from the Omaha, NE area in August 2011 because Fudge was offered

the director job at a Christian preschool in Mililani. They found an apartment two blocks from the school so it is very handy. Carissa has not been working but is doing some craft projects at home to sell. We thank you for your prayers for them and hope you will pray for them because their finances are

tight. We are happy to have them back here close at this time, as are Fudges parents.

Cassie & Mike

We were able to visit Cassie and Mike Temme on the way back from a conference I spoke at in Canada in June. We had a great time and I was pleased to see that they both have good jobs now. They just recently moved into a rental closer to their work which will require a lot less driving over windy mountain roads. Cassie is currently working for a CA state animal shelter as and animal control officer. She says that she really likes her job. Mike works with elderly adults that are homebound, helping them to cope with their living situations. He also likes his job. They have 3 cats and a new dog since they can now have a dog in their new house. Please continue to pray for them, especially that the Lord will continue to work in their lives, drawing them closer to Him.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

Mike & Cassie Temme

Josiah
Josiah came home in summer of 2011 and is now living with us. He is currently taking a class at the University of Hawaii Leeward Community College campus close our home. He is taking World History and enjoys it. Josiah is working part time at Pearl Harbor Christian Academy where Rose teaches kindergarten and is hoping to be hired on full time there. He has also been doing a lot of acting with a young adult group from Calvary Chapel and will be one of the main characters in their Christmas play. He is quite a good actor and has had a lot of compliments since the last few plays, one where he played Jesus and the other where they wrote their own scripts, including one by Josiah.

Simpson Ministry
We continue to see our Bible studies grow. Even though we have lost some who have passed away and others who are infirmed in their homes and can no longer attend, we have added a number of new people. We are thankful that the teaching we are doing is having a greater impact as more people come to our studies. Currently Juanita is teaching 1 & 2 Thessalonians. I will be following her with a requested study on the core

doctrines and how to use them to discern false teachers and witness to cults. I will also be using part of my DVD called Discernment Toolkit and another recent series called 12 Biggest Lies that goes through a number of lies in our modern culture about various biblical topics. Thank you for your prayers as I was finally able to

publish my Bible Studies in Discernment book which features studies I have done in Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1, 2 & 3 John and Jude. Please continue to pray for us in the area of ministry and finances. With love, The Simpsons
