and Sunday, Jan. 1st will be combined into a two-week bulletin; many parishes do this to alleviate stress during the Christmas season. Please email any announcements for the two-week bulletin to Mercy at mercyb@stphilipneripdx.org by no later than Monday, Dec. 19th. Thank you!

Pre-Christmas clearance and last chance to get your hands on frozen quarts of spaghetti sauce. Stock up for those busy days ahead with little time for meal prep. Special clearance price is $5 per quart or five quarts for $20. (Good local gift idea and it wont gather dust in a drawer somewhere.) Final sale is Sunday, Dec. 18th, Carvlin Hall, from 9:30 AM until the parish Christmas Party wraps up.
Wednesday, Dec. 14, 7pm. The love of God can heal us and the sacrament of Reconciliation is a good place to start.

Pastoral Corner
Greetings!
Every
year
at
the
beginning
of
December
we
get
the,
Please
give
us
a
list
of
what
you
would
like
for
Christmas
requests
from
our
daughters.
And
every
year
it
gets
more
difficult
to
think
of
things
we
want
or
need.
Were
past
60
and
instead
of
getting
things
we
are
trying
to
get-rid-of- things.
Even
some
of
our
books!
Interestingly
enough,
this
year
the
list
request
came
with
a
reminder---
Lets
do
practical,
useful
things----put
some
thought
into
it.
About
the
same
time
we
received
the
request---I
received
several
articles
suggesting
that
we
support
the
American
economy
as
much
as
we
can.
So---here
are
some
suggestions
for
your
Christmas
list
to
give
and
get.
