Judo Successes
Year 2 pupils Leonidas Lazarides and Rohan HowardRobinson took part in a judo competition on Sunday 4th December at Long Ashton. Trained by John who runs the judo club at Tockington Manor School, the boys competed very well and both won trophies. Leonidas won all three of his fights and in Rohans first competition he won two out of his three fights. In the same tournament Clement Bentejac came fifth, winning the maroon trophy. Well done, boys!

Panto Trip
Years 3, 4 and 5 went to Cheltenham yesterday to see the pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk and what a treat it was! The children were delightful; the show was excellent with the most impressive giant stealing the show in the second half. We all had a great afternoon despite the lashing rain. Thanks to Mrs Gooch for her excellent planning and all of her hard work.

Swimming News
Please look out for the Personal Best slips which will be appearing in planners over the next few days. Although speed is only a small part of our swimming curriculum, it helps to identify strengths and weaknesses. It also serves as a target for improvement as the swimmers can clearly see how close they are to meeting medal targets for stroke and distance. We will repeat this during the next two terms. The details are for the ASA School swimming times up to 16 years of age. Our swimmers should be very proud of their achievements. One medal winning time: TJ Underwood, John Pineau, Rebecca Moss, Eleanor Clark, Nathan Adams, Charlie Sanzo, Harvey Jones, Seren Clayton, Oliver Harris, Darren Banks and Hamish Gardner. Two medal winning times: Simon Sheppard, Mimi James, Jason Ingamells, Cesar Benito, Tobias Burden, Daisy Williamson, Imogen Rees, Ethan Hilsley, Pepe Garralda, Abigail Blackwell, Olivia Campbell and Max Curtis. Three medal winning times: Jessica Portch and Alexander Blackwell. Well done to everyone!
