Clearwell Caves On Monday 12th December the Lower School will be going to Clearwell Caves to see Father Christmas. The children can wear their own clothes, appropriate for walking through caves. On our return to school we will have a Christmas tea and if the children would like to, they may change into party clothes. The school day will finish a little later at approximately 4.00 pm. After-care will run as normal for those who require it. Christingle On Monday Year 1 were led in reflection and prayer by Rev. Alice Monaghan. We made Christingles and spent some time thinking about the symbols of the Christingle. Rev. Monaghan then helped us to light our candles and say a few quiet prayers. We learnt a song too. We wanted to say a big thank you to Rev. Monaghan for giving up her time to help us. Thank you!

Swimming News
Please look out for the Personal Best slips which will be appearing in planners over the next few days. Although speed is only a small part of our swimming curriculum, it helps to identify strengths and weaknesses. It also serves as a target for improvement as the swimmers can clearly see how close they are to meeting medal targets for stroke and distance. We will repeat this during the next two terms. The details are for the ASA School swimming times up to 16 years of age. Our swimmers should be very proud of their achievements. One medal winning time: TJ Underwood, John Pineau, Rebecca Moss, Eleanor Clark, Nathan Adams, Charlie Sanzo, Harvey Jones, Seren Clayton, Oliver Harris, Darren Banks and Hamish Gardner. Two medal winning times: Simon Sheppard, Mimi James, Jason Ingamells, Cesar Benito, Tobias Burden, Daisy Williamson, Imogen Rees, Ethan Hilsley, Pepe Garralda, Abigail Blackwell, Olivia Campbell and Max Curtis. Three medal winning times: Jessica Portch and Alexander Blackwell. Well done to everyone!
