Title of the Project: Enhancement of School Regulations (ESR):

To Maintain the Cleanliness and Discipline of Navotas National High School Students

Rationale In compliance to the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers, under Article VIII, sec. 8, A teacher shall ensure that conditions contribute to the maximum development of learners are adequate, and shall extend needed assistance in preventing or solving learners problems and difficulties. We are teachers committed to pursue and provide some solutions to improve our students academic and other areas of learning developments. Time is a very precious resource to enhance the learning of the learners. If we are guided by the Philippine Standard Time (PST), then our work will be in sync and we can optimize use of time spent in school. Our class schedules, activities and meetings should be based on the PST and that schedules must start and end on time. Based on the Department of Education issued DepEd Order Number 86, series of 2011, Synchronizing with the Philippine Standard Time, directing all school officials nationwide to synchronize with the Philippine Standard Time (PST) so that all schoolbased activities are conducted simultaneously. Ang Batang Navoteno ay Disiplinado is one way to encourage and motivate our students to be disciplined and good role model in Navotas City. Background As we all know, we encounter problems in handling students. These problems create such headaches and worries to us. You can see that some of the students of Navotas National High School must be disciplined. They tend to produce some intolerable deeds in our school. The waiting area of the students, when lining up for the entrance, is one of our major problems. In this case, noise cannot be controlled by the teachers, and other concern people who had been performed in organizing students for lining up. Noise creates irritability, stressing teachers-in-charge and other persons within a bound.

Another case is many students leave their respective classrooms during class time. They do lying so that they can go out of the room and loiter. This affects the learning progress of the student and puts the teacher in danger. If something happens to the student, it is responsibility of the school, and so the teacher is. Not only students emerge as a major problem but also the teachers. Teachers must guide and monitor their students regularly for their performance displays a major role for disciplinary development. The challenge is in our hand to maintain the discipline of our students. These activities will implement effectiveness for a better regulation in schools bound and will solve some problems. Students will be more organized, and teachers and other concerns will feel more ease in handling students every class. Learning progress will probably increase because skipping classes will now be stopped if these activities will be implemented our school will display greatness and good example for others. Objectives

Students will line up accordingly and wait until their term will start. As they wait, teachers-in-charge will monitor to assure good atmosphere as they [students] wait. III. Interpretation Implemented Solution In input, the students and their teacher-in-charge are the persons involved. The teacher will allow their students to go out but in this case, teacher did not monitored them. This will be result into a bad learning progress of the student and poor teaching grade. Suggested Solution In input, the persons involved in this suggested activity are the teachers assigned and the students-in-responsibility. Teachers have two gate passes: one for boys and one for girls. The teacher must not allow their students to go out unless the gate pass is retrieved. Thus, the teacher will ensure the safety and monitor every student systematically and properly. The guards, Department Heads, Master Teachers, Guidance Counselors and the Principal are only authorized to inspect the students if they have gate pass. If the student is caught with no gate pass, he/she must be sent in Guidance Counselor together with the teacher-in-charge. This condition acts as awareness for teachers. This will served as a lesson for both teachers and students.
