If you want to know more about Manichaeism, or become a Manichaean yourself, get in touch with the Manikaya Vizier

of the Maninayan Patriarchate through either: Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/manikaya.vizier Email: manikayavizier@gmail.com Q: What is Maninaya? A: Maninaya is the Religion that was ushered into this world by the Holy Prophet and Apostle Mani in the 2nd Century C.E. It is a dispensation of the Religion of Light. Q: What is the Religion of Light? A: While there are many religions in the world, only a select few have Divine origins. These few religions are distinct in that they reveal the will of the One God, known by many names in many cultures, to mankind. Because of this, it is a revelatory nature as opposed to investigative, meaning that people do not come to an awareness of these realities but God reveals to realities to mankind. Not every religion that claims to be divinely revealed is what it claims to be either. The Religion of Light has always been with mankind in some form or another: *In Ancient Egypt it was represented by Akhenaten and it was Called Atenism (Akhenaten also called it The Religion of Light , the first time the phrase was used in the world); *The Religion of Light among the Hebrews manifested as Torah Judaism and later as the Essene Religious sect (The believers being called the Bnai Or or The Sons of Light); *It appeared to the people of Persia as Zurvanism (the original form of Zoroastrianism, before the manifestation of Mazdaism); It appeared again in Persia with Tonpa Shenrab Miwoche who then brought this to the Tibetan Plateau and this would become known as Yungdrung Bon or The Eternal Light Teachings; *The Religion of Light was the precursor to what is known in India as Sanathana Dharma In the time of Christ this Divine Messenger sought to return the Hebrews to the Religion of Light first bestowed upon them as Torah Judaism and further clarified through the Essene Community, but what this became after his departure was a religion that was separate from the Religion of Light. The Didache was offered to those who were not of the Hebrew lineage but who were drawn to the Divine Messenger Christ in that era nontheless, but the Religion of Light appeared all over the world to all people in many forms, this was only one form. In this final age of mankind,

Today, God is seeking to save the many souls of this earth through the Religion of Light once again, this time He is doing this through three distinct yet unified expressions of Maninaya: 1. Manikaya: The original Babylonian form of the Religion of Light as taught by Mani. 2. Moni Jiao or Mingjiao Buddhism: This is the form of the Religion of Light as taught by Mani as it took root in Ancient China. 3. The Ayyappani Faith: This will be a form of the Religion of Light offered to the People of India and all those drawn to Vedic religion, and is a means to restore the people to the original intention and heart of the real Sanathana Dharma ushered into the world by Vishnu (The Living Spirit). All of these expressions of faith are Maninaya, they are all the Religion of Light. Q: In Maninaya, there is often a reference to the Third Messenger, who is the Third Messenger? A: He is the Rukha Khaya or Living Spirit. The One Created Being in whom we all exist. Q: Why is He called the Third Messenger? A: The Third Messenger is designated as such due to the fact that He is in the era of the Third Creation, manifesting toward the end of the Second Creation, the latter being referred to as the Two Hundredth World. Q: What is the the Two Hundredth world? A: The two-hundredth world is in reference to an era, a system of chronology used in the world of the Yazatas or Aeons. Q: Why are there different expressions of the same faith in different lands throughout the earth? A: Be attentive to this parable: Three different cooks were called to assist in the preparation of meals at a Manikaya Hall. It was requested of each cook to prepare bread and rice with soup. Each of the cooks prepared the meals with different methods. The first cook used more seasons than the second cook. The second cook used spices that had been brought from another land. The third cook used very little seasoning in the bread and the rice. When each of the cooks placed their bread in the boiling soup, the bread began to dissolve and as the steam rose above the great pot, the scents of the various seasons all rose to the ceiling, flowing out of the windows.

Now, the three loaves of bread are like three different men living in in the Realm of Matter. Each one has a unique disposition, attitude and each one has different likes and dislikes from the other. Not all men are alike. There are different colors, ethnicity, language, and cultures, just as there are different tastes for the pallet. However, the singularity shared among all men is the fact that they are human beings. When each ceases to exist in the physical form, like the steam from the boiling soup, the spirit arises to the other realm. The Yazatas (Aeons) are aware of all of these various differences in men of the earth. Therefore, in responding to these various needs, the Pure Teaching has been transmitted, taught and translated in many different lands throughout the earth with the awareness of the varying unique qualities of humanity. Devotees of the Pure Teaching in India may practice under a banner of one color while devotees in China, Japan and the Americas may practice their faith under a banner of another color. They are united in their wish to liberate the Light from the Realm of Matter. In their unity they worship Abba dRabbuta and honor all the true Yazatas (Aeons or Divinities) and teachers of the Pure Teaching. Q: Is it possible for Hearers (laity) to see Abba dRabbuta while residing in the Realm of Matter? A: Abba dRabbuta is not reachable for sentient beings existing in the Realm of Matter. However, a Way has been provided through which salvation may be obtained by having faith in Mir Izgada, the Third Messenger, a Manifestation of the Rukha Khaya or Living Spirit, for this world. After one leaves the Realm of Matter through the natural process of leaving the body of flesh in death, that one has a higher level of access to the Divine Source since by this time they have found liberation of the light from matter, finding complete enlightenment and perfection in the actual Presence of Il Ya (Abba dRabbuta). Q: If Hearers are unable to see Abba dRabbuta while living in the physical body, how do we make petitions to heaven? A: There are a number of ways in which Hearers can petition the heavens: (1) Hearers can call upon the Prophet Apostle Mani (the blessed founder of Maninaya) who in turn brings their petitions to Mir Izgada, the Third Messenger. Mir Izgada brings those petitions to Abba dRabbuta. (2) Another means of obtaining mediation between the laity and the Third Messenger is through the Elect (the highest appointed clerics within Maninaya). If the Heareer physically resides near the Elect, he may bring food to these clerics for offering to the Third Messenger on the Grand Altar. The Elect then take the petitions of the laity and make mediation by performing the rituals prescribed in our

Scriptures. If the Hearer does not reside within a reasonable distance of the Elect, another means of seeking mediation is available through the Maninaya Patriarch, officially known as The Maninaya Patriarch of the Pearl Throne of the Religion of Light and Holder of the Sacred Scrolls. Offerings may be made before the image of the Patriarch with prayers directed to Mir Izgada. The work of the Patriarch, according to the rituals appointed to his office of responsibility, acts as mediation between the Hearers and the Third Messenger. An image or statue representating the Patriarch may be used on the first level of the altar. (3) The third method is also the same means by which the Elect who live distantly from other communities of Elect seek mediation for themselves. The Patriarch seeks mediation for himself through the Manikaya Vizier, officially known as The Master Teacher of Manikaya in the West, Keeper of the Blessed Tradition of the Religion of Light. The Patriarch and the Vizier send a small gift to each other on a monthly basis as a sign of their vow to make proper mediation on each others behalf. Q: Should Hearers do anything else other than seeking mediation? A: Seeking mediation alone is not enough for the Hearer. Manikayans must take the initiative to seek liberation of the light from matter having a working faith in the Three Pillars (Scripture, Tradition and Revelation), and by cultivation of Virtue and the practicing the Five Perfections which consist of:

1. Proper Reason 2. Proper Mind 3. Proper Intelligence 4. Proper Thought 5. Proper Understanding The Five Perfections are also referred to as the Five Sons of Abba dRabbuta. The Five Sons also make mediation for both the Hearers and the Elect. Q: Who can find happiness in the Kingdom of Lights? A: All who call upon Mir Izgada with faith in him and his teachings and practice of the Five Perfections are assured a happy existence in the Kingdom of Lights. Q: Who is the Rukha Khaya?

A: The Living Spirit, the One Being Created by Abba dRabbuta, in whom we all exist. Q: What is the difference between the Rukha Khaya, the Third Messenger and Isho? A: The Rukha Khaya is the totality of all Creation, all realities, all universes and dimensions, the One Created Being in whom we all exist; Mir Izgada (The Third Messenger) is the Manifestation of the Rukha Khaya over this particular universe and Lord Isho is the Manifestation of the Third Messenger for this world. When Isho appears in the final age, this is the Third Messenger (i.e. a manifestation of Rukha Khaya) overseeing the transition from the second creation of this universe to the third creation of this universe.
