LESSON PLAN
1. Topic 2. Grade

: Degree of Comparison : Ninth Grade

3. Time Allocation : 2x45 minutes (1x meeting)

4. Goal Student will understand the ways to compare two or more things or people. 5. Objectives Competence Standard:
1. Student will understand the meaning in the very simple spoken/text to

interact with the environment about comparison.


2. Student will express the meaning in the very simple spoken/text to interact

with the environment about comparison. Base standard:


1. Student will response the meaning in the very simple spoken accurately,

fluently, and acceptable to interact with environment about comparison.


2. Student will response the meaning in the very simple text accurately,

fluently, and acceptable to interact with environment about comparison.


3. Student will express the meaning in the very simple spoken accurately,

fluently, and acceptable to interact with environment about comparison.


4. Student will express the meaning in the very simple text accurately,

fluently, and acceptable to interact with environment about comparison.


5. Student will comprehend and produce new spoken/text about comparison.

6. Material and Equipment


a. Material :

1. Text includes degree of comparison

2. Degree of Comparison Pattern

Technology: Slide of material contains of picture about degree of comparison.

b. Equipment: LCD

7. Procedures
a. Opening (by giving greeting and asking some questions about last meeting,

assignment, or other activities).


b. Giving apperception

Before we start our lesson, we give information gap (apperception is students give their perception about degree of comparison of picture that given by the teacher) and the students answer the gap.
c. We give a conversation which includes degree of comparison.

d. The students practice with their partner. e. We discus the conversation together (by giving some questions).

We give text which includes degree of comparison.

g. The students read by themselves.


h. We discus the text together (by reading loudly and giving some questions). i.

We can begin to describe about degree of comparison pattern and its contain by using media power point and explaining on the board (the pattern of degree of comparison and the example).

We ask a student randomly to make sure that the students understand the pattern.

k. We give the student some exercises.

8. Evaluation a. Evaluation Norm:
