METHOD OF STATEMENT FOR 132kV Interconnector Sealing End (Bay E01) at Hyundai GIS work PMU Bayan Lepas

1) Work SCOPE 1. Degassing work for E01 Power Cable Compartment 2. To removed the E01 132kV(cable box) GIS compartment(132kV Interconnector Bay) 3. To adjust the RYB phase of sealing end into correct position. 4. Placed the GIS compartment (cable box) and begin with docking process. 5. Re route the 120 Sqmm power cable for suitable bending radius before docking works. 6. Vacuuming works after completion of sealing end installation. 7. Fill up the SF6 gas for Bay E01 cable box compartment. 8. Cable testing including Insulation, shield and phasing testing.

For earthing continuity, since the new building is new the complete earthing system has been install and tested no testing require, we need to ensure all the connection is secure with tester test result in hand. 3.The IR Test -The majority of utilities, including competent engineer, hire consultants to conduct such tests because interpretation of results requires both advanced training and skills generally not available in-house. The necessary equipment for XLPE testing is also generally not available in-house. But now by using the Insulation Tester Unit select Voltage into 1kV for the mean time place the prop ground and other prop to Power Cable amour sheath. Competent Chargeman shall maintain testing by injecting the 1kV Voltage within 1 minute time durations.
