NMDC Limited, a Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India and a multi locational, multi product and consistently profit making Mining & Mineral Exploration Organization with more than Rs.11,000 crore turnover is in the process of massive expansion and diversification in India and abroad. NMDC is also setting up an Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar near Jagdalpur, Bastar District, Chhattisgarh State. The Company is looking for suitable retired persons having expertise in the following functional areas for appointment as ADVISOR on tenure basis, who will be positioned at the place as indicated against each functional area.

Qualification and Experience: I. For functional areas at Sl.No. 1 to 3 The candidate should have Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute of repute. The Candidate should have worked in a Steel Plant, preferably in PSUs for atleast 20 years and possess high level of competency in the relevant functional area as specified above. The successful candidate will be required to plan, co-ordinate for ensuring proper and smooth execution of the respective packages as per schedule. II. For functional area at Sl.No. 4 Must be a Graduate in Engineering from an institution of repute preferably with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Management from a recognized institution. Should have worked for a minimum period of 25 years in Steel Industry or related Consultancy organizations of repute, in the areas of Coordination, Supervision, for execution of green/brown field Integrated Steel Plant project, Operation & maintenance of Steel Plants. Persons with high level of competency in coordination work with proven track record of having successfully handled coordination activities for large Integrated Steel Project/ Plant will have added advantage. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate the activities / functions of NMDC Limited, MECON Limited and other concerned bodies to ensure synergy for smooth and efficient execution of Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar and other related works. Age: Below 65 years. Duration will be initially for a period of one year which is extendable on mutual consent. Remuneration is negotiable and will not be a constraint for the deserving person.
