THE LUNGS
Really an interesting project, for all the work with the lungs.

One of the first projects, our first lab that was about opening an animal lung, for understanding how it works, that project was an idea of the Biology teacher.

This was a group project, each group with its own lung, we work on a group with Nicolas Rincon, Nicolas Martinez and Juan Diego Hoyos. All from 9A. 2

1.- Do you like your Profession?
Yes, because in my profession I help other persons, with their sickness. I like to be a Gastroenterologist doctor, because the I like the pictures during an endoscopy are really nice.

2.- If you werent a doctor, what career do you liked?

I will liked to be an athlete, playing Squash, or maybe Soccer, if I had not suffered my knee injury. Or also, I liked the music, becoming a musician. 3. You would have liked to become a professional Squash player? Yes, because is a really nice sport, but one problem is the knee injury, and I would not have enough time for all the championships. 4. Do you regret of something of your past? Yes, two things that would be important, the first if to not speak fluidly english, because the moment I go to USA, its difficult to communicate fluidly, and the second is that I miss an exam, that would allow me to have a degree in USA. 5. Do you want to live in another country? No, because Colombia is a really nice country, in Colombia I have everything I need.

This exposition was about a Colombian Photographer called Ruven Afanador, he was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia the year 1959. He is a Colombian Photographer also a U.S citizen. He is a really good photographer. He had also write 2 books.

Autobiography
I was born June 25, 1996, in Bogota, Colombia, in San Ignacios Hospital. My parents are called Camilo Blanco and Monica Inzunza. My brothers name is Andres Blanco. After kindergarten I went to Rochester School, where I studied all my life. I like to make sports like Soccer and Swimming.

This experiment consists in different tables of the labs were flames with a chemical. The project consists in introducing the chemical into the flame, and describe what happens next, if the flame starts changing of color or not, some flames change of colors like to green, red, blue, etc. 8

THE HEART
This was our second laboratory that consists of opening a heart, this was also like our first lab, for understanding the functions of each part of the heart, and how the heart work normally. This was a really nice project.

We were working in the same groups of the first time. I worked with Nicolas Martinez, Juan Diego Hoyos and Nicolas Rincon. Each one have a specific work.

MOLECULAR MODEL
This project consists in creating the molecular model of some particles, like H2O,N2. We had to show the particle, the electro negativity, and other things of the particle. Really interesting project because it was necessary to knew which ball was the correct particle

NEWTONS LAW OF UNIVERSAL GRAVITATION

Where: F is the force between the masses, G is the gravitational constant, m1 is the first mass, m2 is the second mass, and r is the distance between the masses. Newton's law of universal gravitation states that every point of mass in the universe attracts every other point of mass with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

This project was about explaining that Newtons Law in a brochure. Consists on create a brochure explaining in what it was about, and also explaining about who was Issac Newton. 17

SAVING ENERGY IN YOU HOUSE

The world today faces a severe shortage of energy and will not be long when mankind would face an energy crisis. The decline of fossil fuels and lack of friendly fuel alternative are the two main concerns when it comes to saving energy. There are many ways you can start saving energy at home and one of the ways is to make smart and thoughtful for. The first step in saving energy would simply turn on the lights when you really need them, and turn them off when not needed.

Therefore, it becomes an urgent need worldwide to start saving energy. The best and most important way to start saving energy is to do at home. There are some things you can do to get a good energy saving in your home, such an option would be to buy energy efficient appliances that consume less energy than common household appliances.

All the household appliances like TV, DVD players, must be disconnected. Use lower power bulbs. Dont spend a lot of water. Those are some advices to dont spend a lot of energy.

This was our first integrated project, this project had work of subjects such as: Math, Chemistry, Music, and more subjects. This project consist in the creation of Cheese, we create a cheese with all 9 grade, each group had to make an specific work of the cheese.

Einstein The Biggest Scientist

Main Idea One of the biggest scientist during the XX century, Albert Einstein, one big mind that discovered new thing for the humanity.

Einstein was an normal scientist until one day he finished a scientific paper that would change the world. Scientists call 1905 Albert Einstein Annus Marabilis (years of miracles). Only in few months, Einstein wrote a series of papers that would transform the way we see the universe. They included his theory of special relativity and the famous equation E=mc. In one year, maybe less (1905), Einstein became an important scientist, maybe one of the biggest during the XX century.

The Miracle Years

Albert Einstein was born in 1987 on the German Empire in Ulm. His father Hermann Einstein was a salesman and an engineer. His mother was Pauline Einstein (ne Koch). The Einstein's were non-observant Jews. So his father decided to send Albert to a Catholic School. In 1895, when he was 16 years old, Albert enter to the Swiss Federal Polytechnic in Zurich, with exceptional grades in Math and in Physics. Einstein married Marid in January 1903. Marid and Einstein divorced on February 1919. Einstein married Elsa Lwenthal (ne Einstein) on June 1919, after having had a relationship with her since 1912.

Changing the science world While working at the patent office, Einstein
did some of the most creative work of his life, producing no fewer than four groundbreaking articles in 1905 alone. In the first paper, he applied the quantum to light in order to explain the phenomenon known as the photoelectric effect, by which a material will emit electrically charged particles when hit by light. The second article contained Einsteins experimental proof of the existence of atoms, which he got by analyzing the phenomenon of Brownian motion, in which tiny particles were suspended in water. In the third and most famous article, titled On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies, Einstein confronted the apparent contradiction between two principal theories of physics: Isaac Newtons concepts of absolute space and time and James Clerk Maxwells idea that the speed of light was a constant. To do this, Einstein introduced his special theory of relativity, which held that the laws of physics are the same even for objects moving in different inertial frames, and that the speed of light is a constant in all inertial frames. A fourth paper concerned the fundamental relationship between mass and energy, concepts viewed previously as completely separate. Einsteins famous equation E = mc2 (where c was the constant speed of light) expressed this relationship. During his later life (1939-1955), Einsteins theories, including his equation E=mc2, helped form the basis of the development of the atomic bomb.
Many scientists recognize that Albert Einstein was one of the biggest minds in the XX century, for all his work during the Annus Marabilis creating the four groundbreaking articles in 1905 all alone.

CHOICE THEORY
The Choice Theory is an explanation of the mind. It was developed by Dr. William Glasser during the 1970, in the William Glasser Institute.

Dr. William Glasser was born in May 11, 1925. He studied chemical engineering, psychology, medicine and psychiatry, and has dedicated his life to the relationship between mental health and interpersonal relationships. His ideas, which focus on personal choice, personal responsibility and personal transformation, are considered controversial by mainstream psychiatrists. 25
