BIOFUEL
Combustible plants and animals materials. In some way it derive from biomass. Can used as an energy source. Simplest biofuel is wood , crop waste , manure etc. They are made from corn, sugar cane soybeans, algae and vegetable oil etc. It is ecological sustainable fuel.

FIRSTGENERATIONBIOFUEL
The fuels derived from sources like sugar , starch, animal fat and vegetable oil Some of the most popular biofuel are :Biodiesel: It is most common fuel , commonly used in European countries .They are produced by using a process called transesterification .They are similar to chemical known fatty acid methyl. The oil is produced by mixing the biomass with methanol and sodium hydroxide. The chemical reaction thereof produces biodiesel

FIRSTGENERATIONBIOFUEL
Vegetable oil: It is used for cooking purpose. In most of the countries, it is mainly used for biofuel. Biogas : Biogas is produced after the aerobic digestion of organic materials. Biogas can also be produced with biodegradable waste materials. It is rich in methane , these gases can be a serve threat it escapes into the atmosphere. Bioalcohols : It is produced by the use of enzymes and

microorganisms through the process of fermentation of starch and sugar. Ethanol is the most common type of bioalcohol and propanol, butanol are less used. butanol is referred as gasoline. Syngas : Gas produced after the combined process of gasification combustion and pyrolysis.

SECONDGENERATIONBIOFUEL
Second generation biofuel are derived from lignocellulose crop. Plants are made from cellular and lignin. Lignocellulose is the wood structure material of plants. Second generation biofuel use biomass to liquid technology including cellulosic

biofuels.

THIRDGENERATIONBIOFUEL
Third generation biofuel are also known as algae fuel or oilgae. It is produced from algae. One advantage of many biofuel type is that they are biodegradable and so relatively harmless to environment, if spilled. Algae still has its difficulty though, done by agitation. Most biofuel comes from harvesting organic materials but some algae naturally produces ethanol and this can be collected without killing the algae. for instance to product algae fuel its must be mixed uniformly which if

AdvantagesofBiofuel
Less expensive then gasoline and other fossil fuels. It can be manufactured from wide range of material crop waste, manure, and byproducts, making effective steps in recycling, It is renewable source. It is biodegradable. It has lower carbon emission.

DisadvantagesofBiofuel
It has high cost. Lower energy output. Not widely available. Biofuel production produces heavy smell. Massive quantity of water is required for proper growth of crops.
