The Sacral Chakra is associated with the color orange or red-orange. I usually visualize the Sunkist orange that has been dyed to attract the produce buyer, or the orange red of an evening sunset when I'm focusing on spinning my second chakra. This chakra often offers us the opportunity to lessen our "control issues" and find a balance in our lives, teaching us to recognize that acceptance and rejection are not the only options in our relationships. The process of making changes in our life stream through our personal choices is a product of second chakra energy. The Solar Plexus Chakra is associated with the color yellow. This is the area which defines our "selfesteem". The personality that develops during puberty is housed in this chakra....otherwise known as the "EGO". Anyone experiencing dysfunction of the third chakra is having difficulty obtaining or maintaining his/her own "personal power". The Heart Chakra is associated with the color green or pink. This love center of our human energy system is often the focus in bringing about a healing. Thus, the words "Love Heals All" have great truth. Hurtful situations that can effect our emotional being are divorce or separation, grief through death, emotional abuse, abandonment, adultery. All of these are wounding to the heart chakra. Physical illnesses brought about by heartbreak require that an emotional healing occur along with the physical healing. The Throat Chakra is associated with the color sky blue. This chakra is our will center. The healthfulness of the fifth chakra is in relation to how honestly one expresses himself/herself. Lying violates the body and spirit . We speak our choices with our voices (throats). All choices we make in our lives have consequences on an energetic level. Even choosing not to make a choice such as in repressing our anger (not speaking out) may manifest into laryngitis. We have all experienced that "lump in our throats" when we are at a crossroad of not knowing how to speak the right words in any given situation, perhaps even stuffing our own emotions. It is our avenue to wisdom - learning from our experiences and putting them in perspective. Achieving the art of detachment beyond "small mindedness" is accomplished through developing impersonal intuitive reasoning. It is through an open brow chakra that visual images are received. The Crown Chakra is associated with the color violet or white. We use the seventh chakra as a tool to communicate with our spiritual nature. It is through this vortice that the life force is dispersed from the universe into the lower 6 chakras. It has been referred to as our "GOD SOURCE" - but this terminology might be confusing to anyone who equates God with religious dogma, because of this I choose to call it a spiritual connection or communicator. This chakra is often pictured as a lotus flower opening to allow spiritual awakening in an individual. The crown chakra could also be considered the well intuitive knowing is drawn from. The Chakras

Old: The chakra system has seven major chakras in the body that function separately. Each chakra looks like a swirling cone of energy, opening up in the front and back but very narrow in the center of the body. In that narrow center point is a ring that holds the chakra in this position called a seal. For the course of the karmic game, the heart chakra has been semi-closed so that all chakras would operate at a lower karmic functioning. Most human interactions have been based out of the lower three chakras. New: With Lightbody activation, the heart chakra opens into its higher functioning and takes predominance over the others. This forces the other six chakras to begin operating at their Higher Divine functioning also. The seven seals break open and the chakras change shape from conical to spherical. Then they all begin to merge into what we call the unified chakra. The other seven chakras that exist outside the physical body activate, starting with the eighth, nine and tenth chakras. These upper chakras open into the unified chakra and stimulate the emotional, mental, and Spiritual bodies to unify. As the heart chakra opens multi-dimensionally, the more unified the other chakras and the energy bodies become. This forms a unified energy field which becomes the vehicle for ascension as the Oversoul, the Christ Oversoul, and the I AM presence descend to merge with it.

The Base, or First Chakra, is located at the base of the spine. It connects the body to the planet and regulates life-force in the body. It also has connections with the Instinctive Center, located just above and behind it. The Navel, or Second Chakra, governs sexual and creative energy in the body. The Solar Plexus, or Third Chakra, is the source of power and the force of will through the ego. The "ego" is the combined Lower Bodies, the Physical, Emotional and Mental Bodies. The Heart, or Fourth Chakra, is located in the center of the chest. It forms the basis and center for the Unified Chakra. It is the source for love and manifestation. The Throat, or Fifth Chakra, governs the expression of one's truth. The Brow, or Sixth Chakra, governs the perception of truth. The Third Eye structure is located right in front of it. The Crown, or Seventh Chakra, forms the connection from the body to the upper chakras and the Spiritual Body. The Alpha/Omega Chakras, located 8 inches above and 8 inches below the spine respectively, form between them the Waves of Metatron of Electric, Magnetic, and Gravitational function. They act as anchors--the Alpha connects the lower bodies with it upper-dimensional counterparts, and the Omega anchors the lower bodies across their holographic grid of incarnations.

Beckee - we can't shaman67 - 50 years ago we did a major change, we went from a farming country to a full blown production country...nothing wrong with that so to speak..but we got our feet off the groundwe started moving to the city..walking on concret... just to stay for a little bit if you put enough energy into something it stays...concrete and steel absorb energies and in the city were life is hectic to say the least all this energy doesnt not have the time to bleed off like it would if you were on open ground...your feet chakras are saying "hey whats up".. im wallking through alot down here after a hard day of work do you want to soak you feet? THE CHAKRA SYSTEM

The word chakra means wheel in Sanskrit. Chakras are the energy centres in our bodies, and most authorities associate our glands with chakras. You will also notice that each chakra is in the vicinity of one or more of the major organs in our body. You will see from the hand positions that many of the positions correspond with the chakras in the human body. If you think about this you will soon realise that a healthy body and mind means that the chakras are in balance. The chakra system is the balance mechanism for the psychological and emotional aspects. The chakra system functions as a unit, the flow of energies between the chakras should be balanced. There are twelve major chakras, and over one hundred minor chakras. A chakra treatment is given to balance the energy flowing among them (the caduceus is the ancient oriental symbol for the chakras). The process used in this system for chakra balancing is given below. This is not the time and place to go into the Lightbody and its functions, but this chakra relates to joy.

* Tenth chakra: this chakra's colour is pearlesence. This chakra is concerned with the male and female balance. When this chakra is balanced it is very easy to be healthy and connected with your soul. * Eleventh chakra: this chakra is coloured pink orange. This chakra connects you to the new age energies. This energy is the energy of freedom, it allows you to process stored traumas etc. * Twelfth chakra: this chakra is shimmering gold. This chakra connects you to the Christ Consciousness. This energy connects all forms of energy together. This chakra system is just a brief look into chakras and Their functions. Simple Chakracises
I often receive emails from readers asking me for advice on how to go about getting their chakras open and functioning. Normally this happens as a result of them being told (correctly or incorrectly) that they have nonfunctioning chakra/s and this information has them concerned. It amazes me that anyone would tell someone that they have a closed chakra without offering some advice in how to go about correcting the problem, other than to nudge them into consulting a healer trained in energywork that can evaluate their chakra system more thoroughly. Be a remedy seeker not a label seeker While it can be interesting and helpful to be given a diagnosis, or told that you have an imbalance, it is not beneficial to move into fear or acceptance and stay stuck in those states. Find out as much information as you can by asking questions about what can be done, if anything, to fix the problem or ease the imbalance. If you are concerned that your chakras are imbalanced then consult with an energyworker to have them evaluated and be given treatment options. The word chakra is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning wheel. If we were able to see the chakras (as many psychics, in fact, do) we would observe a wheel of energy continuously revolving or rotating. Clairvoyants perceive chakras as colorful wheels or flowers with a hub in the center. The chakras begin at the base of the spine and finish at the top of the head. Though fixed in the central spinal column they are located on both the front and back of the body, and work through it. Each chakra vibrates or rotates at a different speed. The root or first chakra rotates at the slowest speed, the crown or seventh chakra at the highest speed. Each chakra is stimulated by its own and complimentary color, and a range of gemstones for specific uses. The chakra colors are of the rainbow; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The size and brightness of the wheels vary with individual development, physical condition, energy levels, disease, or stress. If the chakras are not balanced, or if the energies are blocked, the basic life force will be slowed down. The individual may feel listless, tired, out of sorts, or depressed. Not only will physical bodily functions be affected so diseases may manifest, but the thought processes and the mind may also be affected. A negative attitude, fear, doubt, etc. may preoccupy the individual. A constant balance between the chakras promotes health and a sense of well being. If the chakras are opened to much, a person could literally short circuit themselves with too much universal energy going through the body. If the chakras are closed, this does not allow for the universal energy to flow through them properly which may also lead to dis-ease. Most of us react to unpleasant experiences by blocking our feeling and stopping a great deal of our natural energy flow. This affects the maturation and development of the chakras. Whenever a person blocks whatever experience he is having, he in turn blocks his chakras, which eventually become disfigured. When the chakras are functioning normally, each will be open, spinning clockwise to metabolize the particular energies needed from the universal energy field. As already mentioned any imbalances that exist within any chakra may have profound effects upon either our physical or emotional bodies. We are able to use our quartz crystals and gemstones to re-balance all our chakric centers and once the chakra has been properly balanced then our body will gradually return to normal. The reason why crystals and gemstones are wonderful and powerful healing tools are because of what science calls its piezoelectric effect. (You can see this effect in the modern quartz watches). Crystals and gemstones respond to the electricity that is coursing through our body, and if the energy is sluggish, the constant electrical vibrations of the stones will help to harmonize, balance, and stimulate these energies. THE SEVEN MAJOR CHAKRAS FIRST CHAKRA-ROOT Studying the individual chakras begins with the root chakra, called Muladhara in Sanskrit. The root chakra is located at the base of the spine at the tailbone in back, and the pubic bone in front. This center holds the basic needs for survival, security and safety. The root chakra is powerfully related to our contact with the Earth Mother, providing us with the ability to be grounded into the earth plane. This is also the center of manifestation. When you are trying to make things happen in the material world, business or material possessions, the energy to succeed will come from the first chakra. If this chakra is blocked an individual may feel fearful, anxious, insecure and frustrated. Problems like obesity, anorexia nervosa, and knee troubles can occur. Root body parts include the hips, legs, lower back and sexual organs. The colors used for this chakra are red, brown and black. The gemstones are Garnet, Smoky Quartz, Obsidian, and Black Tourmaline. NOTE: A man?s sexual organs are located primarily in his first chakra, so male sexual energy is usually experienced primarily as physical. A women?s sexual organs are located primarily in her second chakra, so female sexual energy is usually experienced primarily as emotional. Both chakras are associated with sexual energy.

SECOND CHAKRA-BELLY (SACRAL)

The next chakra or second chakra is often referred to as the belly or (sacral). It is located two inches below the navel and is rooted into the spine. This center holds the basic needs for sexuality, creativity, intuition, and selfworth. This chakra is also about friendliness, creativity, and emotions. It governs peoples sense of self-worth, their confidence in their own creativity, and their ability to relate to others in an open and friendly way. It?s influenced by how emotions were expressed or repressed in the family during childhood. Proper balance in this chakra means the ability to flow with emotions freely and to feel and reach out to others sexually or not. If this chakra is blocked a person may feel emotionally explosive, manipulative, obsessed with thoughts of sex or may lack energy. Physical problems may include, kidney weakness, stiff lower back, constipation, and muscle spasms. Belly body parts include sexual organs (women), kidneys, bladder, and large intestine. The main color used with this chakra is orange. The gemstones are Carnelian Agate, Orange Calcite and Tigers Eye. THIRD CHAKRA-SOLAR PLEXUS The third chakra is referred to as the Solar Plexus. It is located two inches below the breastbone in the center behind the stomach. The third chakra is the center of personal power, the place of ego , of passions, impulses, anger and strength. It is also the center for astral travel and astral influences, receptivity of spirit guides and for psychic development. When the Third Chakra is out of balance you may lack confidence, be confused, worry about what others think, feel that others are controlling your life, and may be depressed. Physical problems may include digestive difficulties, liver problems, diabetes, nervous exhaustion, and food allergies. When balanced you may feel cheerful, outgoing, have self-respect, expressive, enjoy taking on new challenges, and have a strong sense of personal power. The body parts for this chakra include the stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, and small intestine. The main color for this chakra is yellow. The gemstones are Citrine, Topaz, and Yellow Calcite. FOURTH CHAKRA- HEART The fourth chakra is referred to as the heart chakra. It is located behind the breast bone in front and on the spine between the shoulder blades in back. This is the center for love, compassion and spirituality. This center directs one?s ability to love themselves and others, to give and to receive love. This is also the chakra connecting body and mind with spirit. Almost everyone today has a hard, hurt, or broken heart, and it is no accident that heart disease is the number one killer in America today. Deep heart hurts can result in aura obstructions called heart scars. When these scars are released, they raise a lot of old pain, but free the heart for healing and new growth. When this chakra is out of balance you may feel sorry for yourself, paranoid, indecisive, afraid of letting go, afraid of getting hurt, or unworthy of love. Physical illnesses include heart attack, high blood pressure, insomnia, and difficult in breathing. When this chakra is balanced you may feel compassionate, friendly, empathetic, desire to nurture others and see the good in everyone. Body parts for the fourth chakra include heart, lungs, circulatory system, shoulders, and upper back. The main colors used are pink and green. The gemstones are Rose Quartz, Kunzite, and Watermelon tourmaline. FIFTH CHAKRA-THROAT The fifth chakra is referred to as the Throat. It is located in the V of the collarbone at the lower neck and is the center of communication, sound, and expression of creativity via thought , speech, and writing. The possibility for change, transformation and healing are located here. The throat is where anger is stored and finally let go of. When this chakra is out of balance you may want to hold back, feel timid, be quiet, feel weak, or can?t express your thoughts. Physical illnesses or ailments include, hyperthyroid, skin irritations, ear infections, sore throat, inflammations, and back pain. When this chakra is balanced you may feel balanced, centered, musically or artistically inspired, and may be a good speaker. Body parts for the fifth chakra are throat, neck, teeth, ears, and thyroid gland. The main color used is light blue. The gemstones are Aquamarine and Azurite. SIXTH CHAKRA- THIRD EYE The sixth chakra is referred to as the Third Eye. It is located above the physical eyes on the center of the forehead. This is the center for psychic ability, higher intuition, the energies of spirit and light. It also assists in the purification of negative tendencies and in the elimination of selfish attitudes. Through the power of the sixth chakra, you can receive guidance, channel, and tune into your Higher Self. When this chakra is not balanced you may feel non-assertive, afraid of success, or go the opposite way and be egotistical. Physical symptoms may include headaches, blurred vision, blindness, and eyestrain. When this chakra is balanced and open you are your own master with no fear of death, are not attached to material things, may experience telepathy, astral travel, and past lives. Sixth chakra body parts include the eyes, face, brain, lymphatic and endocrine system. The main colors are purple and dark blue. The gemstones are Amethyst, Sodalite, and Lapis Lazuli.

SEVENTH CHAKRA-THE CROWN

The seventh chakra is referred to as the Crown. It is located just behind the top of the skull. It is the center of spirituality, enlightenment, dynamic thought and energy. It allows for the inward flow of wisdom, and brings the gift of cosmic consciousness. This is also the center of connectedness with the Goddess (God), the place where life animates the physical body. The silver cord that connects the aura bodies extends from the crown. The soul comes into the body through the crown at birth and leaves from the crown at death. When this chakra is unbalanced there may be a constant sense of frustration, no spark of joy, and destructive feelings. Illnesses may include migraine headaches and depression. Balanced energy in this chakra may include the ability to open up to the Divine and total access to the unconscious and subconscious. The main colors for the crown are white and purple. The gemstones are Clear Quartz Crystal, Oregon Opal, and Amethyst.

Dragons is a symbol for the kundalini fire energy .

Balanced energy:
Centered, grounded, healthy, fully alive, unlimited physical energy, can manifest abundance.

Excessive energy:
Egoistic, domineering, greedy, sadistic, sexual energy entirely genital.

Deficient energy:
Lack of confidence weak, can't achieve goals, suicidal, sexual energy, feel unlovable, little interest in sex, masochistic.

Illness:
Drug addictions, anemia, cancer, arthritis, heart disease, gynecological problems, Aids, herpes, candida.

Glands/organs:

How can you balance this chakra?

Dancing is very good for grounding. In the summer, go barefoot. House cleaning and cooking is also grounding. Hug a tree , take care of your plants. When the energies or vibrations from two people's chakras are mixed, the following takes place: the light from the one chakra affects the light from the other chakra, these lightwaves are mixed in a way, so they create different figures. Excessive energy: Emotionally explosive, overly ambitious, manipulative, caught up in illusions, overindulgent, sexual energy see people as sex objects. Deficient energy: Shy,timid, immobilized by fear,overly sensitive, self negating, burdened by guilt, sexual energy-clinging, guilty about having sex, abused, frigid or impotent. When the solar plexus is open, you have found your unique gift, the work that gives you pleasure and makes you feel fulfilled. One way to find your gift is to consider what you most enjoyed doing when you were a child, this will give you clues about your natural inclinations. In marital arts the third chakra is considered the center of Chi, the life force energy (also known as Reiki).

Balanced energy:
Outgoing, cheerful, self-respect, respect others, strong sense of personal power, skilful, Intelligent, relaxed, spontaneous, expressive, take on new challenges, enjoy physical activities and good food.

Excessive energy:
Judgmental, workaholic, perfectionistic, overly intellectual, may need drugs to relax, sexually inhibited, can't show emotional warmth.

Deficient energy:
Depressed, lack of confidence, worry about what others think, confused, poor digestion, afraid of being alone, sexual energy-insecure, need constant reassurance, jealous, distrustful.

Glands and organs influenced by the third chakra:

The diaphragm, the breath, adrenals, skin, digestive organs, stomach, duodenum, pancreas, gall bladder, liver.

Gems/Minerals:
Citrine, gold topaz, amber, tiger eye, gold calcite, and gold.

Illness:
Digestive difficulties, gas, food allergies, liver problems, diabetes, over-sexed, gall stones, muscle cramps, spasm, depression, difficulty breathing.

To balance this chakra:

Rub your belly, visualize sunshine radiating out from your solar plexus, breathe using your diaphragm. When two people are quarreling, then the light from the solar plexus chakra is turning dark, and the way that the lights from the two chakras are mixed is characterized by negativity. Different figures can be seen here, The darker the ligth is, the more hate is there between the two,and when it turns dark enough, it turns into blackand a blockage may arise in the solar plexus centre in one.

Tone: A Note: f# Element: Air Sense: Touch The heart chakra is the center of compassion, when the heart is open you transcend the limits of your people, plants, animals, all of life.This is the humanitarian center, you care about social causes like saving the whales and the planet earth.

Balanced energy: Compassionate, empathetic, humanitarian, see the good in everyone,desire to nurture others, friendly, outgoing,in touch with feelings, sexual energy-can surrender and merge in a love relationship, can wait for the right partner. Excessive energy: Demanding,overly critical, possessive, moody, melodramatic, manic-depressive, use money or sex to control people. Martyr, a master of conditional love "I love you if" withhold love to get the desired behavior: "You wouldn't do that if you really loved me." Deficient energy: Paranoid, feel sorry for yourself, indecisive,afraid of letting go and bee free. Sexual energy - feel unworthy love, can't reach out, terrified of rejection,need constant reassurance. Glands and organs influenced by the fourth chakra: Heart, lungs, immune system, thymes gland, lymph glands. This is the center for communication, when this center is open, you will have a powerful desire to talk about what youre experiencing. When you do this, some of your old friends will fall away, but your true friends will always be there for you, so let go of the ones who are uncomfortable with the new person you are becoming. You'll find that there are many new and wonderful friends who will be magnetically drawn to you as your own energy changes.

Balanced energy:
Contented, centered, can live in the present, sense of timing, good speaker, artistic, can meditate and experience Divine Energy. Sexual energy, can seek bliss through meditation.

Excessive energy:
Arrogant, self-righteous, talk too much, dogmatic, addictive, sexual energy-macho, prefers partners who can be dominated.

Deficient energy:
Scared, timid, hold back, quiet, inconsistent, unreliable, weak, devious, manipulative. Can't express your thoughts, sexual energy-can't relax, feel conflict with your religious upbringing, may be afraid of sex.

Glands/Organs:
Thyroid, parathyroid, throat, mouth, teeth.

Gems/Minerals:
Turquoise, chrysocolla, blue topaz, aquamarine.

Illness/problems:
Communication and/or speech problems. Knowledge used unwisely, ignorance, lack of discernment, thyroid and immune system problems.

To balance this chakra:

Sing, chant, hum. Listen to music that you really like. Take a walk and look at the beautiful blue sky and breathe consciously. When two people mix the energies from their throath chakras, without the desire for dominating each other, then the most beautiful blue color appears, and within this color symbols for strength and solidarity, like e.g. a beautiful sword which protects the two against the dark forces, may appear. Also humorous figures, like laughing fairies, can be seen, for when there are no dark manifestations of power in the contact with another persons throath chakra, then there is humour. Humour is one of the most important of Gods qualities, humour can to some degree protect against the kind of darkness, which tries to gain power through the contact with human beings' throath charkas
