Scorpions. I didn’t think I’d mind, but when I took a

and anthems. These days Manowar appear to be moving further away from their
initial rock-based roots and more in an epic orchestral, symphonic direction.
However, the core sound elements and the True Metal attitude remains, and after
two great interviews with vocalist Eric Adams over the years, this time around
we spoke with the man in charge, bassist Joey DeMaio, We were expecting an
equal measure of passion and enthusiasm for Metal with an open discussion
on topics near and dear to the hearts of Manowar fans, as well as affording the
opportunity to dispel any false rumors and bullshit concerning the band along
the way.
What we got instead was an interview which was cut very short, just as we felt
we were getting into the meatier subject matter. Was this a genuine coincidence
of unfortunate timing and bad scheduling, or deliberate question dodging of
subjects the band will not openly discuss? We’ll let you decide...
