SYNOPSIS

Project title: Comparative Analysis of Stock Brokers Students Name: Manjit Gogoi Training Supervisors Name: Mr. Rahul Gupta Faculty Guides Name: Ms. Hitakshi Dutta Objective of the project: To know about the awareness towards stock brokers and share market. To study about the competitive position of India Bulls in Competitive Market To know the perception and psychology of investors towards share trading. To know about the investment options of non investors (those who do not deal in shares) To know the satisfaction level of the people with their brokerage firms. Findings, Conclusion and implications: (On the basis of my 6 weeks study) I have gained the basic knowledge about the stock market and the how the dealings take place and about the various domestic as well as global indices. I have observed the effect of news on the share market. The world economy is going through many ups and downs. The recent European credit crunch forced all the indices around the world into red. But the effect on Indian market was not much and the EUs $1 trillion package for Greece brought some relief after a weeks downfall. Thus there is a direct relationship between news and share market. Positive news will have a positive effect and vice-versa. At current stage Indian market is range bound and NIFTY is trading between 5080 on lower side and 5220 on upper side. The end of 2010 is going to breakthrough this range bound market and investors can hope to see many ups in the Sensex as well as Nifty. It can be said that type of investment can be related to income because more the income, more the person will be interested in short gains and intraday and lesser the income, the person would be more interested for long term gains.
